Like so many people, I have fond memories of family cooking. My grandmother did try to write down her recipes, even though she never worked with measurements of any kind, but nothing ever came out quite the way she made it, and I do so miss her cinnamon ...

Pros: Really brings back old memories, true family delight. Is among the top books I've used.
Cons: None that I can really see.

I loved this cookbook. The first thing I tried out were the cheese squares. This brought back good ol' memories of Grandma's foods. This is a cookbook that brings back all of the old memories. The aromas, and everything else... the cookbook is as it does. Just Beautiful! I purchased one for my girlfriend's grandmother and my parents too. A timeless gift indeed!
