I own 2 Wave station blenders. The dispenser looks pretty, but its not really needed, and its extra work to clean. Throw it away.

This blender has a plastic, not glass container. It also comes with an outer plastic "shell". Its like a double plastic container.. This is good,because Hamilton Beach is not known for using high quality plastic for constructing/manufacturing its containers.. If the outer shell cracks, the inner container stays intact, protected.

I only buy Hamilton Beach..Read the fine print next time you go to your local mall/department store..
Check out the power of their machines and their warranties, dollar for dollar,against ANY competitor.. They blow everyone away..
They are an old company.. They can be reached.. They will refund,no problem.. They will completely replace a defective machine, and pay the shipping!

Look at the watts, the warranty on the WaveStation or any of their blenders.. Yet look at their low prices. Facts are facts, you don't need to believe or trust me.
