Pros: Good picture quality, nice feature selection, excellent sound quality Cons: Menu interface occasionally a bit laggy, reliability below average
A local retail salesman once told me that many of the first HP plasma TVs were made by Panasonic. He said it was an easy sell because the Panasonic plasmas were very highly rated at the time, and you could buy an HP for a much lower price that was ...
Pros: Picture quality, price, features, connectivity, & looks. Cons: Uses more power then an LCD of same size. No auto adjust to different formats.
I posted the following review on C-Net almost a year ago and the TV is still going strong and looking great: I got this TV through Best Buy right after the price came down a bit, ($1709). Now it's on sale for even less. I have no idea what the ...
Pros: Pros.....Canadians are Calm, Nice People. The picture was good when you got see it. Cons: Customer Service is the worst I've ever had to deal with.
I purchased the PL4260N 42" HP Plasma at the end of March 06. It worked fine for about a day. HP logo popped up when and if you got the TV to turn on. I call Tech support, they ask me to reset the TV,I do. I go and do the whole setup with the Tech on ...
Pros: Price is low, I paid $1425.00 Cons: Only one HDMI input.
I have recently purchased the HP426ON. I have absolutely
NO bad/poor things to say. The picture is excellent, all
features are user friendly. It is easy to mount on the
wall ( I suggest doing so). The sound is great. The
cosmetics of the TV is Nice.
All Inputs are on the bottom and can easily be conceiled.
The output to Audio works well too.
The price is very low, and Consumer Reports rated the TV
#2 in it's 42" category.
One miniscule bad point, there is only one HDMI input.
This Plasms TV is well worth the $Money$ and has quality,
reputation, Brand Name to back it up.
Wouldn't buy again if someone else paid for it! by billiards1234 ,Oct 22 '07
Pros: Nice size, Good picture for the money, nice price. Cons: Service, service, service, service, service!!!!
Bought this TV in Feb. of '07. Started getting "Ghost" images on it after only 6 months of VERY light use. I have contacted HP about this. As of now they are offering to replace with a "Reconditioned" like model. This I don't have a problem with. However, they refuse to agree to send a unit that is in the same cosmetic condition as the one I currently own. I hate to say it, but some of us take care of our stuff and when it has to be replaced, we want it replaced with stuff that's been taken care of.
I am currently waiting for the replacement TV. If it's not up to par cosmetically as the one I have, I WILL BE SENDING THAT ONE BACK!!!!
After reading some of the other reviews about this TV, I can see that others have had similar problems with this unit model and similar problems with HP.
Pros: Excellent picture, sound, menus. Great TV Cons: Nothing bad to say about this product.
I was a bit unsure when I purchased this TV because of the great price. But I have to say, this is a GREAT TV. Excellent picture, excellent sound, great menus. I can't say enough good about it.
