Beward
by gphisher ,Aug 02 '07
Pros: Great picture, customer service is helpful Cons: Quite working, and replacement didn't work either
Well the TV worked out fine for 8 months minus the shabby remote, but then died. Problem with the power source. A repair shop said it was impossible to get parts for. Customer service has been very helpful so far,but my replacement tv also was a lemon. Hopefully it gets resolved

Great first LCD TV
by argrafix ,Dec 20 '05
Pros: Jaw dropping HD and DVD picture quality.
SD picture quality is good.
Cons: Remote is huge.
Manual sucks, but workable.
Clicking sound when changing SD channels.
I bought the TL-3220HD version of this TV, the only difference is the high definition ATSC tuner built-in(Extra $100). The clumsy remote would not win a design award. There is a low clicking sound when switching standard channels and menu items, but I seldom notice it anymore after a week of channel surfing. I recently noticed that the clicking sound does not happen when switching digital channels. Even with these small quirks, they pale in comparison to the price and picture quality. I can't wait for the Daytona 500 in HD!

Happy at first...
by hstanton ,Nov 19 '07
Pros: Initially great picture, ample inputs. Cons: Poor remote, poor lifespan, poor warranty terms.
I was so happy when I first purchased this unit. Great color, black was black. The remote lacked quality, but I could live with that for the price paid, around $850 US.
However within a month of the warranty expiring, the TV would flicker and/or roll in the vertical axis. The problem rapidly got worse. The TV is now a bit over 18 months old is totally useless.
I've been told by several shops there is no fixing Hisense units as parts are not available.
As far as the warranty, there is a little known clause on the Hisense website stating that Hisense will not warrant any TV purchased through an online retailer. When I asked my vendor (Global Computer) about this, they stated this was the first they had heard of such a thing. Global did inform me later that Hisense had changed their terms and they would no longer be carrying the Hisense brand.
Buyer beware, you get what you pay for. Toshiba here I come...

Buy A Vizio
by paints58 ,Dec 04 '07
Pros: None Cons: Everything about this TV is a con.
I purchased 2 Hisense TVs from Tiger Direct - one for myself, one as a gift. The sound on one of them has not worked consistently since day one. One month short of the one year warranty, the second TV is not watchable. The greens are now black, the whites are pink and all channels, both HD and digital look like a muddy water color painting. Customer service at Hisense has been non-existent after 12 phone calls, which I have logged, 10 e mails and 4 letters written. Save yourself the money and go to Wal Mart and invest in a Vizio - which actually has a great warranty and will be worked on in the USA!!

Outstanding LCD
by dcraven ,Feb 10 '06
Pros: The Price and Picture blew me away.. Cons: Remote would be the only weak point.
I have had it for over a month now and have enjoyed every min with this LCD. It makes my normal DSS look HD and when i was at the store i made them turn the HD off on all the LCD TV's and this model smoke them all to me in the 32"range , Sony,Shape, you name it.. all my friends talk about how clear and bright it is and like i said before i don,t have HD DSS..
The remote is not the best at first but it's got better or i got better at useing it.

Great Picture
by bhildom ,May 18 '06
Pros: Best picture in any 32" LCD I've ever seen. Built-in Wall mount. Cons: Poorly written owner's manual. Composite cables hook on the side. Weak Remote.
When I first saw how clear this LCD TV was showing composite DVD it made every set near it look blurry and pale. I was cautious because I never heard of Hisense before, but so far no problems. Great picture.
