I ordered the Dimplex Model DX026-2 online from electricfireplacesource.com The fireplace was charged to
my credit card three months before the backordered item was actually sent. If I had received notice
that the fireplace was not immediately available, I would have cancelled the order. Both Dimplex and the electricefireplacesource.com refused to take responsibility for the lack of communication and poor customer service. The restocking fee was finally waived after lengthy conversation, but I was left with the $100 shipping fee necessary to return the no longer wanted fireplace. Customer service was extremely disappointing.
