A great extra guest bed or a permanent bed!!!

by califtonjgirl , Jun 26 '04
Pros: Super extra guest bed...lots of room for one person or two young children. Stores well.
Cons: Older style doesn't have the recessed pump & can't be butted up against a wall.
I bought the full-sized Raised Aero Bed over a month ago. A guest was flying in from out of town and the sofa with a queen sleeper we had ordered wasn't going to arrive in time for her visit. In addition, our guest room is also the family room, so a ...

Overpriced Junk
by puppytacoNew Member ,Jul 03 '08
Pros: Quickly inflates with the touch of a button.
Cons: Quickly deflates with the quick release unexpected holes.
I spent $150 on a full sized aero bed last week (the Comfort Embrace Luxury Collection) and 5 days later its leaking. I have owned 3 other inflatable air beds, this being the most expensive, and they all leak after less than 1 year.

The box that it came in claims there is a 3 year warranty, however if you look closely, the mattress is 1 year and the "electric motor" is 3 years. Needless to say this is going back asap.

I'd recommend getting a nice sleeping bag and some thick blankets for $30 at Target to lay on top of vs buying another Chinese made piece of poo.

Aero is a scam
by fffffft ,Jun 27 '06
Pros: great idea, comfortable, especially with a sleeping bag or two on top
Cons: poor quality, don't last, always leak, eventually bubble up and can't be patched
Why? I've had six Aerobeds, and they all LEAK. If they are advertised for daily use, they are a TOTAL rip-off.

I have become an expert at patching these things.

They are very comfortable, and portable, but otherwise a piece of crap. Made in China. They keep coming out with new designs, too bad they can't put all that engineering into making them last $200 worth!

The first one I bought lasted about a year--since then it's been all downhill. Some leak out of the box, others within a month or three. The leaks originate along the welded plastic seams. I give up.

Warning - Don't buy.
by nipper99 ,Aug 26 '06
Pros: Automatic inflator
Cons: The rest of the product.
Don't buy. After 3 days a seam leaked. Patched it and 1 day later another seam broke. This product is not worth the money. Pay $30.00 for a coleman and deal with a cheap product because Aerobed is not any better.
