This was the worst pile of junk I have ever received. It made my Christmas suck worse than Kwanzaa. First off, they are right in that it is fairly easy to assemble. A monkey with matchsticks would be more useful though. The manual offers no help other ...

Pros: Nothing good about this.
Cons: HORRIBLE!

This is the absolute worst electronic product that I have ever bought. The remote constantly sends the wrong signal to the system. I will press the root menu button the stop signal is sent, or if I press the next or previous chapter the setup menu comes up. More and more DVDs that I try and play with this system do not register and they work fine with my other DVD systems that I have. There are also lots of programming glitches that prevent proper use of the system. They were lucky that I had already passed the 90 day warranty. It is strange that all these problems started about 100 days into the use of the product. Customer Support just ignored my problems since I was past the warranty.

Pros: FM radio worked and did seem to play CDs.
Cons: Everything else.

My DVD-937 came installed in an RV; you know those expensive trailers that are stocked with the cheapest crap the manufacturer can find. The DVD player was always intermittent from the get-go: image would pixillate or would skip tracks, but being the analytical type I tried to get it to work. Tried cleaning the disk, tried DVD cleaners, tried blowing canned air into the innards, repeat the above but with no success. I should have returned the box but being the procrastinator that I am I managed to let the 90 days slip by and was told by the customer service that they don't provide out of warranty help or service. I opened the box looking for a part number to order just the DVD player itself from anyplace on the Internet that I could find who might be able to get it but all I could find was a paper label with a China Internet address. I went there hoping to order the player but the website wouldn't even acknowledge that the player had been made there. COBY should replace their brand name with "CRAPPY".

Pros: Low price
Cons: Extremely bad quality

DVD stop working after 10 days. The system cannot load the DVD and a Wrong disk error appears for the same disk it was able to load a few days ago. Hope I will be able to return it.
