Pros: This is designed to be a high quality for the average sized living room.
Cons: It is plagued by technical problems and inefective and couldn't care less aftersales service.
When it works, it produces a fine quality sound. However it is not a multiregion Dvd player and won't even play the dvds you get free in newspapers. The function change between Dvd, FM, video 1 and Video 2 started to fail intermitantly after 11 month, the Dvd drawer failed to operate and when powered up the unit interfered with the TV by changing the screen size and input mode. Under the 2 year warranty I was able to return it to the retailer (Hughes Direct) who forwarded it to Denon in Middlesex who farmed it out to a sub contractor in Swindon. It was returned to me after nearly 3 weeks and did not work at all . It is now back at Dennon Via Hughes Direct. I wonder what is going to happen next?
I love it when it works
I hate it's unpredictabiliy
I hate Denon's aftersales service
