Pros: Very clear, uncolored sound for the money. Cons: Odd universal mounting bracket.
THE BASICS
Infinity now offers more of it's high end audio technology in it's lower end speakers. Todays 70$ coaxial speakers are actually richer sounding and offer more clarity than the 250$ component speakers of just a few years ago. These...
Pros: Excellent sound! Highs and mids are great! Cons: Wierd looking adapter thing that isn't very useful if doing higher end installation.
What can I say about these speakers? They sound great, easy to install, and great quality. Looking in the market for 6.5 speakers I ran across infinity and heard some very good things about its quality and sound. So I decided to purchase the speakers ...
Pros: Great SQ, look good, angled tweeter, more bass than you think. Cons: none
I've recently installed a set of these into the front doors of my 89 VW Passat. Installation was very easy and the instructions provided plenty of relevent information to location and staging. These are hooked up via oxygen free copper cable to an Alpine...
Pros: Great sound, good bass, no distortion Cons: don't try to install yourself unless you know what you're doing.
Infinity 652i
I have been looking for about a month for speakers to replace my blown out factory speakers. (They stood no chance against my new CD player and my music) I have a Pioneer DEH-P4400 head unit. I was told by some of my...
Pros: Very clean mids and highs, hardly any distortion even under extreme use Cons: small amount of bass distortion at the low end
I recently bought a new Alpine head unit and amp for my factory speakers. I knew something was wrong when they would get fuzzy in the highs and lows. So I turned to a local auto sound dealer and asked them to diagnose the problem. They told me my...
Pros: Excellent sound quality, pointable tweeter, lots of bass Cons: Had to cut some of my door to make the big magnet fit.
I bought a pair of these speakers to go in the doors of my 2002 Honda Insight (yes the gas electric hybrid cars, and no you dont have to plug them in). Upon recieving the package from Crutchfield the first thing I noticed was how well the speakers were...
Pros: Sound quality, durability, relatively inexpensive. Cons: low power handling
I bought these speakers to be installed in the lower doors of my 1977 Chrysler Cordoba. They installed easily and looked very tasteful.(The grilles aren't all gaudy and flashy) After hooking these up to my Aura 4-channel amplifier, I was immediately...
Pros: good sound, good bass, good quality, tweeter angle adjustable. Cons: Tweeter can not point straight ahead. High frequency range a little reduced.but certainly adequate.
I am very happy with these speakers. I have two pairs in two vehicles. Each vehicle has four speakers. The 625i is in the rear for both.
One more con: Does not come with connectors for connecting to speaker. No wire either, but that is OK...
Pros: High quality, rotating tweeter, non-crack for vegas, non-absord for orlando florida. Cons: plain looking.
I've had a pair of these for over a year now in two different cars. I have a habit of listening to loud music and these speakers just seem not to give up. the material used to make it is very high quality. I've traveled from the humid environment of florida to the deserts of nevada and california. because of the synthetic material in the cone, the speakers wont crack or absorb moisture. it also has a adjustable (rotating) tweeter for proper directional sound. definitly a good buy if you can find it for the right price.
