Pros: PRICE above all, brightness and picture quality, inputs, size, low noise Cons: Rainbow effect is noticeable, and to mitigate you must degrade overall picture quality
I've really enjoyed this projector since I bought it. I have it hooked up to a home entertainment PC, by the VGA cable, and DVDs, movie files, even web browsing and everything else look great on it. I just hooked up my wireless keyboard and mouse. All ...

Pros: Now the plasma and rear projection sets on display in AV showrooms look tiny. Cons: My serious problem has been ground loop induced picture line rolling.
I had a 20" CRT on which I watched Comcast digital cable TV and VHS tapes. I watched an occasional DVD on my computer which has a 21" monitor - yes my computer screen was bigger than my TV. Both system had inexpensive but good multi speaker Cambridge ...

Pros: Great picture quality, small, quiet, love it Cons: Low brightness
After trying out an older zenith projector the size of a small car, and a failed experiment with an inexpensive plasma tv, I gave the infocus x1 a try after reading a raft of positive reviews. Its exactly as good as its billing. Connecting my tivo ...

Pros: Nice Picture, Easy Controls, Great price Cons: I could "pick" at minor things but why? Watch out for the "progressive thinking" :-)
To Start, I have never owned anything like this before. I have had this unit for about 3 months now and have almost 150 hours on it already! I got it mostly for Football this season!! (Go Ravens!) But a "Movie night" has now developed and the wife ...

Pros: Value, picture, versatility, menu, brightness, size. Cons: I can not honestly think of any cons or issues I have with this projector.
I bought this projector around November 2003 and could not be happier with it. It is projected on a 7 foot by 8 foot homemade frame built from 1x3 pieces of wood and stretched muslin fabric which was primed and painted a few times with a flat white ...

Pros: Best big screen for the money, hands down Cons: Occasionally distracting rainbow artifacts
I also read these reviews and bought this unit for about $800 after rebate. I also bought the DaLite Theater-Lite 80" portable screen. I can set up projector and screen in 2-3 minutes. When I am done I drop the screen and slide it behind the couch and ...

Pros: Ultra high contrast ratio, Farusia Video Processor, Amazing image quality Cons: LOW Lumins, Colors washed out with even a moderate ammount of light w/o a screen
The X1 is an excellent choice for a home theater projector. although there are some points that keep it from being an awesome one. First, as stated in my title, this projector has an embedded farusia video processor. They make some of the most high ...

Pros: Faroudja DCDi, 4000h lamp life, rock solid picture, quiet, front panel fan vent Cons: 2X speed color wheel, remote, weight
I wrote about this product once, and first I thought about simply revising my review, but then I felt like the new things I wanted to say were too important and more people should read them. It is getting harder to choose an entry level projector ...

Pros: Flexible! Handles most any TV/PC need. Love the cables, labeled and color-coded! Cons: No DVI port, HDTV cable was $14 extra.
My 32" Magnavox TV has been on the blink for years - it has been very good to me, but at some point I expect it to die suddenly - but when, I have no Idea. So moving to the next level. I did not want to overspend. That being said, what is ...

Pros: Excellent Image Quality, Unbeatable Price.. Perfect for viewing DVD, DivX, PS2 .. etc ! :) Cons: Viewing 1024 resolution PC screen is fuzzy.. but do is it really necessary ?
First of all, X1 is a GREAT BARGAIN for what it does !! The pictures are great, and rainbow effect .. well, I was bothered by it from the day 2 till about a month, and nowadays, I do NOT notice it (going 2nd Month). I think it takes effort to notice it, ...

Pros: Excellent value, good warranty, fine performance. Cons: For this price, there should be no complaints!

Pros: Price, picture quality, deinterlacer, bulb life Cons: Lower resolution, longer throw
Introduction A few years ago I decided that I wanted to upgrade from my old 26 RCA TV to something bigger, a lot bigger. That decision brought me to buying the 61 Panasonic PT-61HX40. At the time I was very impressed with the ...

Pros: Crisp video image, vivid color and fantastic black level after tweaking the default settings. Cons: Minor quirks by design and possible rainbows. Personal preference for non-plastic build.
Decision to buy Currently I have a 30" widescreen Samsung Digital Enhanced Definition (16:9, 480p) CRT TV with which I enjoy watching DVD movies. I was looking to upgrade to one of the new Samsung DLP rear projection HDTVs, but the price point ...

Pros: A-m-a-z-i-n-g picture quality. Many projection options. BRIGHT! Cons: Not going to win any design awards. Generates a fair amount of heat.
We've been toying with the idea of a full-on home theater setup for ages and I thought I'd settled on a 52 inch Sony TV. My thinking was that projectors were simply too expensive and that they didn't have the resolution I needed. Well I spent some ...
