Car Adapter is oversized

Pros: DVD Player has a nice picture
Cons: Car Adapter is too large and is useless!!

It took two months until we tried it out, but the car adapter for this player is too large for the cigarette lighter or plug in our cars. What was bought as a gift for our kids for long car rides is worthless for that purpose.
