I signed up for the superpass with this company thinking it was a good deal, but it turned very expensive in the end. The DVD's come pretty slow, but that wasn't as big of a deal as never getting the latest movies. I had a new release at the #1 spot of my queue for a month and never got it. I decided to cancel my membership a month and a half into my year plan because I was fed up. This makes the plan end up being very expensive, because you end up having to pay the full monthly price for those months that you used (@ $25 a month) and then you get most of the rest of your money back. I cancelled my membership in october of 2006 and it is february of 2007 and I still haven't received a cent back from them. I contacted the BBB of south Florida, and they hopefully are getting my money back, they said intelliflix will be refunding the owed money to my credit card...but I have yet to see it. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM, they definitely don't deserve to be in business.
We originally signed up for a two year agreement with Intelliflix...couldn't pass up that deal. For the first six months their service was good. Then they'd stop shipping us title, oh shipping us new titles when we opened a "ticket". Recently we have not had a movie out in two months. We have open new "tickets" with no avail. We have asked for a refund for the remaining year of our service. They have stated they do not give refunds. They have an F rating on the Florida BBB website. Stay away from this company...

I was SUCKERED in by the super-pass. I failed to read the fine print. NO REFUNDS EVER, also the mature movies don't go to all zip codes, but they won't tell you which ones until after you pay.
The movies take at least a 5 day lapse from the time they receive and the time they ship. So they are sitting on the movies they are supposed to ship.
I have spent so much more money with Intelliflix than Netflix because I want to watch a new release. I have to rent it from blockbuster or pay-per-view.
Oh if you want customer service FORGET-ABOUT-IT. They don't care if you tell them they are the worst company ever, wanna know why, they already got your money...

I would give it NO checks if possible. All of the games (6 so far) have not worked on my son's PS2. So we go down to the local blockbuster, rent a game, works fine. All of his current games work If you want to waste money then go to UnIntelliflix for games. Otherwise go to Blockbuster and get their game pass. Long return times, no games that work. Uncaring support. What less could you ask for.

They appear to have a good selection but when you add a title to you queue you only have about a 1 in 3 chance it will be available in the next 30 days. You never know where a title will ship from. Apparently they rely on hundreds of independent video rental stores across the country. I have actually received disks from California, Florida, Maine, and even Hawaii. It is not unusual for a title to take a week to arrive. You never know if a movie will be wide screen or standard. I have had titles just disappear from my queue. There search engine is so bad it has problems finding exact title matches. The web site is primitive in comparison to the other services.

They are awful and should be avoided at all costs. You'll get gray hair and an ulcer waiting for anything to come from intelliflix.
SPEED:
Slow, horribly slow. It took me over 12 days to get just one selection on my list of about 20 titles. I only got that one after I emailed them and complained. I never received any other titles, communication or product. I had a mix of movies and games in my list. Even older, non-demand titles never came.
WEBSITE:
Quirky and rigged. The website is awful, by design or accident I don't know. It failed on repeated attempts to allow me to change my account status, specifically to cancel. I tried on several different computers over a 1 week timeframe. It'll let you upgrade your account but not down grade or cancel.

Worst company ever. Be prepared for long delays between shipments and unreceptive customer service. Their prepay system is just a way to rob you of your money.
Intelliflix SUCKS, don't even both wasting your time or money on this service. First of all, their customer service can only be reached through email support. They claim not having a live customer service rep to keep costs down. Never do business with a company that does not publish a phone number to speak with someone. I chose the prepaid option of 10 movies for like $20, which I thought was a better deal than I could get from Netflix so I tried them. None of the movie I selected were available and I never even got ONE movie shipped to me. I was afraid they were scammers so I immediately canceled my membership after I realized that I had credits deducted even though it the movie was not shipped, simply because I selected it. It was like, some day the movie will be available and we'll send it, but for the time being, I had lost credits. These people should be out of business yesterday. I am going back to Netflix. I will also call Michael Finney, consumer advocate, to investigate them.

Intelliflix is the biggest ripoff around. Stick with Netflix or Blockbuster.
I was double billed and it took a while to get that corrected
I cancelled service and was charged over $40 for 3 dvd rentals! They advertise delivery in 1-3 days. None of the dvds I rented came in under 6 days. I emailed several times to ensure they had shipping centers in SC and adjoining states and they said they did. None of the dvds came from closer than MS or NJ. This company in dishonest.

I decided to try Intelliflix because of the price and selection, but like other have stated they are slow shipping and marking items as returned. About a week after signing up with them I tried a free trial with Netflix in the 2 weeks with them, I have received 6 movies from Netflix and all were in my top 5 choices at the time. Whereas with Intelliflix, I have received only 4 movies in 3 weeks and none were in my top 7 choices. I had the same movies selected in my both companies queues.
Netflix may cost more, but you'll at least get the movies you really want to see.

Like pain and suffering? Yes? Use Intelliflix. Some pathetic schmo must be running this rinky dink scam out of their basement, schlepping down to a dvd outlet in between naps, buying a few used discs, mailing them out 10 days later and snorting/drinking/gambling any profits received. RUN LIKE THE WIND from this awful service. Don't be suckered in by their advertising or cheap prices. I dumped these losers after 3 months, which was 2-1/2 months too long. Had to email them constantly. Their replies are a bunch of typos and evasions. You can search the web for other consumer reviews and consistently find poor reviews. Avoid like athletes foot, herpes, bird flu, toenail fungus, or any annoying affliction.
If you want to cancel, empty your queue first. Then wait until you have confirmation they received your outstanding dvds. Then contact them via their website to request a cancellation and refund. Tell them their service is horribly slow and you've read bad customer reviews about them. They will offer to extend your subscription for free. Just say no and they should cancel you. Will you get the refund you deserve? Doubtful, but it's better to free of these shysters.

I have been a subscriber of Intelliflix for 1 month and that is all I can handle. I have cancelled my subscription today so I expect it to be actually put through their system in about 3 months. That is if their billing department is as slow as their mailing department. I had Netflix for 3 years before switching to Intelliflix. I switched for the video game rental option. I have received 2 games and the only movies I have received are filler ones I added for the kids, like back in the day Rainbow Brite, Care Bear stuff. Don't even think your going to get a movie that has been released in the last 6 months. The other thing that completely blows about Intelliflix is you have NO clue what movie you are going to get. That is very frustrating when you are used to knowing that you will get 1 of your top five from Netflix.
Skip the trouble of being mad at this company and go with Netflix, it is a MUCH better online movie rental provider.

An on-line DVD company that is actually listening to their customers. Been reading some opinions about Intelliflix lately and wanted to add my two cents. Intelliflix beats Netflix for best price any day, I get mature movies and good service to boot,and they are striving to be great. I e-mailed that customer contact Eileen at the address posted. I got answer and a follow up as well.They are striving to do what they say, and not empty promises. I received actual action, which I thought was great and something that doesn't usually happen.
My Thanks to Intelliflix. You are heading in the right direction.

The worst on-line SCAM experience ever. Ive been a member over 2 months but have received only 13 titles. Im a "3 at a time" member, but never had 3 at a time... ever. Of the 13 received, 4 were in such worn condition they could not be viewed. They are totally unresponsive to specific problems, have only automated response answering their phone, and do not respond to regular mail. Its over a month since they have shipped me a title, with plenty of titles in my queue.
I filed complaints with BBB and FL State Atty General, and learned that both were swamped with Intelliflix complaints. BBB has complaint open and the AG sent a packet of affidavits to complete and submit; thats all done.
After I dared to file a complaint with BBB for my account, Intelliflix now punishes me for daring to complain. They now dump a generic response email in my inbox every hour, 24/7. I have saved nearly 2000 of them so far since they started my punishment and harassment. Cute... very cute. For you own sake, STAY AWAY... VERY FAR AWAY!! Intelliflix = FRAUD and has no business ethics or morals whatsoever!!
