Pros: Attractive, compact, light weight, ease of use, long recording time, no media (tapes/dvds) to buy. Cons: None at present. Have been very pleased with this unit thus far.

Pros: low price, good reviews, RCA imput capability Cons: no flash for still shots, flimsy packaging
After MUCH researching I decided on the MG155 because of price (399 at Circuit City), good reviews (some even excellent), and the fact that it is one of the few HDD cameras that has RCA input (the ability to convert my old VHS tapes into a digital format). I also bought Adobe Premiere Elements to do some editing. Will let you know how it all goes...BTW, the box at Circuit City was slightly crushed in on one side. The girl retrieved another, also crushed. I took the lesser crushed, opened it on the spot and found the camera damaged. I opened the second box and all was OK. It pays to check your merchandise before you leave the store, especially if, like me, you drove to another city to buy it.
