We were set on purchasing a more expensive camera. We were convinced by several sales people that this modestly priced camera would more than fit our needs. Unfortunately, they were wrong. We use this video camera extensively inside for making family videos. Because of this, it is used in indoor light most of the time. This camera does not pick up much light in dim circumstances making people and faces just shadows. Our Thanksgiving video is so disappointing because instead of grandmas, aunts, uncles and children, there are just shadows and darkness.

We purchased this just 2 months ago. My husband has already picked out another video camera to purchase for Christmas so no more time is wasted with this video camera. We want to see Grandma's face, not a dark outline of her. A waste of money and very disappointing.

I have had this camera for a few months. Wanted something to tape kids activities and just general family fun.
I have been very disappointed with picture quality. Also, if you move the camera around while taping at all, the sound becomes ruined and scratchy so that any dialogue or music is not able to be heard.

software is weak and hard to use
