Pros: cleans fast and easy with no effort needed Cons: may not work as well on non-stainless steel interiors, $4 for one use?
Being in Film...Not Always a Good Thing My Mother’s Day gift a little over a year ago was a new (to me) dishwasher. I love that thing, it saves me so much work every day in cleaning up after this family of six! The only problem I have is that ...

Pros: My dishwasher smelled nice for a couple of days Cons: Did not clean the inside of the dishwasher
After being on bed rest for a month and then taking a couple of weeks to recover after having baby #3 it was time to start cleaning the house. I decided to start with something easy, the inside of the dishwasher. So I purchased a bottle of Jet-Dry ...

Works Great!
by katherine1271 ,May 23 '05
Pros: Inexpensive, quick, and easy to use. Cons: None
Our home was built in 2001. We purchased it a year ago. The original home owners hadn't installed a water softener at the time of construction, and being out in the country with well water, there were a few places in the house where lime and scale build up had occurred. The dishwasher was, by far, the worst of them all. After installing a water softener, I thought I'd try Jet Dry Dishwasher Cleaner. At the very least, it might remove some of the lime and scale deposits. I thought that it might take several bottles over the course of a few weeks to really notice a difference, but even at that it was cheaper than buying a new dishwasher. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised after running the one bottle through one cycle. It had removed ALL of the deposits that had built up for nearly four years. What a great $3.50 investment! Everyone should try it!

Wow! Works great. My dishwasher looks brand new.
by comaha5 ,May 16 '09
Pros: Cleans great, gets the hard to reach places, u don't have to do anything! Cons: The only con is the price, it's not that expensive but it could be cheaper.
My diswasher looks like the day it was installed. Especially the heating element & top and bottom sprayers. I dunno if I'd use it once a month but every several months, yes. Definately a good buy.

Overpriced product, misleading advertising
by jamescyberjoe ,Feb 06 '07
Pros: For hard water deposits it works fine. Will not clean grease or food stains! Cons: Misleading advertising, limited use, overpriced for what it does.
First off, this product is a deposit remover. It is not a cleaner as it is labeled or advertised.
What it will do:
Remove hard water scale and lime deposits.
What it will NOT do:
Remove grease.
Remove red stains.
Remove food deposits.
It's contents are citric acid and water. That's it.
It costs about .30 to make and they're charging $4.95.
If you live in an area with soft water and it's municipal water, you do not need this product.
If you have hard water or water that leaves stains from minerals then this product may help.
But why throw good money away on this junk?
Put 1 cup of WHITE vinegar and throw it in on the hottest and longest cycle your dishwasher has (with nothing in it) and let it run. You will achieve the same results for a heck of a lot less money.
For red stains and such try the Cascade plastic booster. That product works very well for that, if you can find it. I believe it has been discontinued.
