Pros: Solar Powered, Analog/Digital Display, Titanium finish, very comfortable. Cons: Only digital time adjustment. 1 Hour increments for world time zones.
Pros: Light, three time zones displayed at once, very functional Cons: A tad difficult at first to use, band that does not lay flat
Citizen Skyhawk Titanium I picked up my Titanium Skyhawk last summer because I wanted a fancier watch. But, since I was traveling so much, I had one big requirement for a new watch: Multiple time zones and being able to see two time zones at once. ...
Pros: Classy, sporty, solar, pilot features, locking clasp, long lasting glow Cons: Many features require the use of the crown. Button controls would be better.
A few months before I started college, I switched from an old casio digital to my first real watch. It was a Fossil titanium watch. I wore that watch for over four years. It was a good watch and continues to run strong right now. However, I am a watch ...
Pros: Eco Drive, Titanium, stopwatch, timer, buttons, band, 3 alarms,Calendar, Blue Angels... Cons: Glare,Luminous hands not too bright, mineral crystal scratches
I have never been to fond of watches because I hate having anything on my wrist(mainly weight),but when I came across the Titanium Citizen Blue Angels Skyhawk and saw all the functions it offered and how much lighter it was than steel,I had to get ...
Pros: Respectable sports style, advantage of analogue and digital, useful for travelers and tourist. Cons: Rechargeable batteries has finite life, easier to read if the crystal is less reflective.
The current Skyhawk Titanium model is JR3060-59F. I have been struggling with the choice of watches for a while. I don’t want a piece of expensive jewelry that have to be well taken care of. It have to be an everyday utility tool, but it have to be ...
I've collected watches for over 30 years -- almost all of them automatics. Rolexes, Breitlings, Omegas, even el cheapos like the Aeromatic 1912 (one of my favorites: keeps near-perfect time, especially for an automatic). Then I won an Eco-Drive on ...
Pros: ~very attractive
~easy to use
~light weight Cons: ~have to get used to arm hair being pulled.
I got this gift as a Christmas present, as well as a gift for recently receiving my Privet Pilots License. This watch has everything you could need. the slide rule bezel is easy to use/read, the controls are easy to learn, and the interactive ...
Pros: Lots of features, customizable, multiple time zones Cons: Stiff band means it doesn't fit well in the pocket.
If you are looking for a watch with a chronograph, countdown timer, alarm, and multiple time zones....this is the watch for you. In addition this watch uses Citizen's Ecodrive technology, essentially a solar charged battery within the watch means that ...
Pros: Everything aviators need: Permanent UTC, Second Hand, Up and Downtimers, Illumination, Multiple Alarms. Cons: Tiny dial digits; Crown difficult to operate while on wrist
I spent a lot of time looking for an aviator's watch that cost less than my airplane. I won't rehash all the things other people have bragged about this watch and instead focus on a couple of things that may be ambiguous after reading other reviews. ...
Pros: Adjusts for many countries and it's eco-drive. Cons: Cheap crystal and bezel. Prone to damage. Poor quality in the long run
After a short time, the crystal, a soft mineral glass, will scratch and obscure the face. The bezel will also deteriorate and look shabby. Replacement of these two parts costs over $130. Good luck. I wouldn't buy another one.
Pros: Lightweight titanium available
Solar power
Count down timer
3 alarms
100 meter water resistance
Cons: No light, hourly chime
Not enough contrast in colour, too monotone.
Useless bezel calculator.
Don't buy the stainless steel version, it's as heavy as a small tank, spend the extra money and get the titanium version, I've heard titanium scratches easily, this is too new a purchase for me to verify. You'd have to be a pilot to figure out how to use the calculation style bezel, this is a useless feature for the average person. Go to a discounter to buy this watch, it is not a good deal at full retail of $500.00us or $695.00cdn, it is possible to buy for 40-50% off. It might seem that I am unhappy with the watch, I'm not, it just could be improved on, and is a good deal at the discounted price.
Citizen Skyhawk ECO Watch by moorejtjt ,May 27 '04
Pros: Looks nice, gets lots of positive comments. Cons: Citizen did not fix it correctly when sent to repair center
I have had my Skyhawk for 1 1/2 years and it has been in for repairs three times. The first was to fix moisture problems (gasket leak) under the crystal. The second was to fix the crown (you couldn't set the time, change the function), the third was to really fix the crown (the Citizen repair center didn't fix it the second time). It has been in for repairs 9 weeks in 1 1/2 years. I would never buy another Citizen watch!!!
