Is this really the best hotel in the world?

Pros: Private beach and hotel image. Good choice of restaurants.
Cons: Lack of personal service. Doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel.
Since the Jumeirah Beach Hotel opened we had intended to stay there when we eventually visited Dubai, but ironically it wasn’t until another hotel, the Fairmont, opened in Dubai, that we made our reservation. What could be more perfect that a trip...

Cons: Value for money
Having spent 10 days at JBH over Easter I can only warn off hopefuls lured in by reviewers surely staying at other hotels? Like other reviewers we were treated to the full Basil Faulty routine at check-in, but unlike other guests we can find little to ...
