Pros: Excellent price for what you get. It cranks! Cons: High THD rate. Has no tape monitor button..??
I was impressed with this amp. when I attached my KLH speakers to it, plain and simple it cranks. It stays very cool which is a good thing for any electronic devices. It has a high distortion rate at low volumes though. I like it's basic design, very...

HORRIBLE!!
by kellieflgirl ,Nov 21 '03
Pros: None. Cons: Horrible. Waist of money. Useless. Shuts off on own.
I purchased the KLH receiver for my parents as a Christmas Present last year. A couple of months after it just started to shut off on its own after a random number of minutes but never longer than 7-8 minutes. I thought that I just had gotten that one bad receiver and returned it to the store I bought it at. About 3 months after that the new one I had gotten did the same thing. Now my parents are stuck with a stereo that they can't listen to (because of return rules)and I feel like a horrible daughter. I never can get ahold of KLH company they are alway closed or "On another line...please hold" and I hold forever but no luck. Don't waist your money.

KLH AV RECEIVER
by busterxx1 ,Aug 23 '05
Pros: A tank , reliable, sounds good Cons: None
I purchased the KLH receiver in Jan 2003. Now is August 2005. After rebates and coupons the unit only cost $85.00!!
The regular price was 150.00. I have played it for hours on end at full volume. Hard rock, movies everything, nothing phases it. I have had a few other receivers from more well known makers in that price range that shut down
or overheat after incurring only a fraction of the use the KLH endures.
When I bought it, I thought that nothing in that price range could tolerate my use. The KLH is not only a tank, but it sounds good and is a champion of reliability.
