Pros: Very large capacity.
Clothes come out super clean.
very efficient.
Cons: Loud.
Your kids will bring clothes back home to wash them.
I bought this washing machine because I needed something LARGE!I was apprehensive because it uses such little water. But I was surprised what a great job it does and how clean our clothes come out. I am very happy with it's performance. I have two grown ...

Pros: Fun,easy to use, gets clothes CLEAN, durable, good for the environment, bulky items no problem! Cons: Uses HE detergent, which is spendy. Some wash cycles are very long, spendy initial investment
I have 2 toddlers and wash everything from a king size comforter to dog beds to "dry clean only" knits. No time for dry cleaning. I am a busy mom! I wash approximately 25 loads of laundry a week, sometimes even more. We haven't had any problems with ...

Pros: Huge capacity; easy set-up & use; comes in colors other than white Cons: Limited to HE detergent, chlorine bleach, for whites
When I first heard about the massive 4.5 cu/ft capacity Kenmore Elite Oasis HE washer, I was eager to zip right out and buy one. Initially, the price put me off. At around $1,000 USD (and the dryer slightly less), I hoped other models would come out, ...

Pros: Huge capacity, quieter than traditional washer, cuts number of laundry loads in half. Cons: May not be cost effective for small families with smaller laundry requirements.
We bought this machine at the Sears Outlet (a savings of about $200 due to minor scratches) when ours died. I chose this machine because with 4 young children I was looking for the largest capacity possible. We have had the washer for over a year with ...

Pros: Huge Canyon Capacity, attractive Pacific Blue color, high tech touch button automatic key pad. Cons: Elite model more expensive in price than regular top loading washers.
Back in the spring of this year (May 2006), my old Kenmore brand washer we bought from Sears finally died on me, so it was time to purchase a new one. For with a family a five including two teenagers and an active first grade boy, I'm ...

Pros: Capacity, energy efficient, features Cons: Louder than expected, expensive
We selected this machine because of the Kenmore quality and the great experiences we have had over many years. I didn't want a front loader since you are forced to purchase the pedestals unless you want to work 12" off the floor. We purchased both the ...

Pros: Uses less water than an agitating machine and can handle a few more clothes. Cons: Doesn't get clothes as clean as an agitating machine and more pre-treatment is required.
I have had problems with this washer since about 2 months after I purchased it. 1st Service call was in late November 2006, another in Jan 2007, and now again in April 2007. The error code "F" 51 appears and it won't continue the cycle. The technician ...

Pros: Canyon capacity, nice blue color, high spin speed, lots of cleaning choices. Cons: Broke in 16 months, expensive, lots of down time for repairs.
A beautiful machine -- from the outside...a nightmare on the inside. We splurged and bought this top of the line washing machine in a beautiful blue color, had the glass lid, all digital display, etc...I was wowed by it. Here's a few of the specs that ...

Pros: It beats beats a root canal once a week, maybe. Cons: Junk
Junk, Junk, Junk, Sears is garbage, Junk, Junk. I wish someone had of just stolen $1,000 because it would be over then, now I have to haul it away and pay to dispose of it. I have been a loyal Sears customer since I was in college ten years ago when I ...

Pros: Large capacity, quiet Cons: Does not clean clothes...period. Does not rinse well.
We purchased this washer with the idea the HE model would lower our bills and clean the clothes at least as well. The fit and finish is good for a sears model. Everything lines up like it should and it is very quiet. The detergent, bleach, and ...

Pros: Looks nice Cons: Wash loads turn into one big ball or knot at least 80% of the time
I have never reviewed anything before, but I feel strongly enough about this washers poor performance to do so. Having purchased multiple Kenmores over the years with good success, I decided to do so again. With the water conservation concerns, I ...

Pros: Different colors, large capacity Cons: Don't run consistently, very pricey, many service calls to keep running.
We bought the best thinking they would last a long time. At the rate we are going these will have to replaced in 3-4 years. The dry would run and run never stopping. The close would be so hot you couldn't touch them. The service dept finally figured ...

Pros: Easy to use Cons: wrinkled clothes, overload and error messages, not enough water to agitate clothes thoroughly,
Do not buy this washer. The clothes knot and come out a wrinkled mess. Some of the clothes don't even get wet until halfway through the cycle. I finally called tech when I got really fed up. He was very patronizing and told me I had to read the ...

Pros: Tub size, fairly quiet, technology tries to be an asset. Cons: Unreliable, technology ends up working against it.
We owned this machine for about four months. Just after the 90-day return period was over, we got an error code and the machine no longer worked. The earliest we could get a repairman out from Sears was ten days. With two small children, going without ...

Pros: Beautiful, impressive, love the cycle choices and the glass top Cons: Unreliable, breaks down, ruins laundry items, poorly made
I fell in love with the "canyon capacity," thinking that as a lover of the outdoors and a pet owner, that this machine would solve our laundry problems. I'm telling you now that I feel like a fool and should have researched this machine thoroughly. ...
