The black brushed aluminum shroud hides controls and wire terminals for a clean, clutter-free install. Adapted from Kenwood's home audio amplifier technology, the KAC-X20D features an all-new slimmer self-adjusting K-STAT (Kenwood Self Tracking Audio Transistor) power transistor. This technology reduces thermal resistance and increases available power effectively reducing distortion for improved sound quality and ensuring accurate reproduction of music at all times. Heat is the #1 enemy in mobile electronics. To battle the enemy, Kenwood incorporated a brushless cooling fan to actively and quietly maintain optimal temperatures, while a die-cast aluminum heatsink effortlessly whisks away heat.
