It was difficult to reach a customer service agent. I never actually was able to speak to a live person. I honestly get the feeling they hide the information so you won't call. I finally reached a recorded message which told me I had an hour window to cancel or change an order (the hour had passed). It went on to tell me that it wasn't worth speaking to an agent because they couldn't override this policy. I understand why they do this, but it'd be helpful to tell the customer when the order is placed or to at least list the policy on the website somewhere.
Now, as it's shipping out, I'm finding out that nearly every item in my order is being shipped separately! I'm getting a ton of email notices and will have a pile of packages on my front step. What a waste of resources. I won't shop online with Kohls again. It's just too much hassle!

If you don't mind waiting a while for your items Kohl's is a good store to buy from online. They always have a great sale going on and a good clearance section, but the order processing and shipping process are painfully slow. At least that is what I experienced on more than one occasion. It is a good idea to check the clearance section every chance you get because sometimes a *really* good deal shows up there, but it won't last long.
WATCH OUT - AVOID AT ALL COST!! Ordered several toys on Dec 9th for Christmas...today is Dec. 20th, and they still have not even filled the order, much less sent it to shipping! Called "customer service" (in quotes because there was none) to cancel order (since I will now obviously have to go to the stores to buy presents for the kids), and was told that there is no way to cancel the order (after waiting over 15 minutes on hold)!! Will have to send items back marked "return to sender" if/when they ever arrive and fight the charges with my credit card company. RIDICULOUS! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!

Terrible experience ordered two sets of dishes the first one was great but the second broken dishes. I called and they replace them with another set of broken dishes. Now with CHRISTMAS a few weeks away and a large dinner party. I have only one set of dishes. Why you ask?? because now the dishes are out of stock. Please beware because KOHLS is not will to help you when your order is damaged. They have the worst packing I have ever seen. They just throw them in a plain box. No bubble wrap or foam, just a box.

Kohl's is absolutely the worst when it comes to online shopping. The last two Christmas I bought items on Kohl's online store. I placed orders at least three weeks before the holiday and the items still arrived after the holiday.
I bought two other items at off season. They canceled my orders in each case citing product availability.
Please shop somewhere else. Otherwise you are wasting your time.
Kohl's is not a discount store. They do not like to be lumped into that category. In store they have a customer is always right policy that does not work online but if you are not happy with your service call the local district manager and make noise. They will fix as much as they can, as fast as they can. Kohl's has grown as large and as fast as they have because of this (sure is not due to the service in the stores try and find someone... would be easier to find a human online)

I purchased three bras on Sunday, November 4, also because my local Kohl's didn't have the size I needed. The estimated arrival time is between November 19-27! This is totally unacceptable. To get it faster I would have to pay $15.00 plus $3.00 for each item, and then it would be a 2-3 day delivery.
I've ordered things from online stores in the middle of the Christmas season and gotten things faster!
While I will continue to shop at my local Kohl's, I will never shop at their online store again.

I have shopped Kohls.com for awhile now and I have never had a bad experience, some of these reviews talk about slow shipping but I have never had this problem, They have great online coupon codes and free shipping (with a coupon code) is great (well anything free is great) :) Alway's a great experience when I shop Kohls, online or in store! They have name brand clothing and household items and with their coupon code you can get a great deal! We finally got a Kohl's store in town and if I need to return anything I have ordered online there is never a problem at all returning it to the store! The employee's are alway's pleasant and helpful
The shipping is horribly slow. I ordered a pair of shoes on 8-12-08, but I still haven't received the shoes. It is now 8-19-08, and it says the order is still in transit. The shoes only had to travel from Ohio, so I can't see what is taking so long to arrive. I ordered another pair of shoes from a different website out of Wisconsin, and they arrived in 2 days. I would not shop at Kohl's.com again because of their poor shipping service.

I love Kohls. Use their charge card and pay 1/3 balance monthly with NO interest charges and receive extra discounts. My shipments are always extremely prompt, and have never received incorrect or broken merchandise. I have never had any problems with customer service. If something doesn't fit, I simply return it to the local store for credit. I do prefer in-store shopping only because I find greater selections and extremely deep discounts. I once got a beautiful $128 comforter set for $12. Can't say enough good things about Kohls.
KOHLS - DON"T SHOP THERE! Have you noticed why EVERYTHING is on sale - always - at Kohls.com?? All their "regular prices" are inflated and they NEVER have them on sale at those prices. The "sale" prices are what most of the stores (and from the manufacturers) sell as their "regular" price. Compare small electric appliances and vacuums with i.e. Target. Kohls' "sale" price can be more than Target's "regular" price. Until March 17, Kohls is having "Bonus Buys" for "extra savings." I checked out four items BEFORE and DURING the Bonus Sale days. Two of them are still the same "sale" price. But two are actually MORE this week during the Bonus Sale Days. There have been claims by State of Massachusetts and Kansas about the fact that all Kohls' "regular" prices are inflated and that are never sold at the inflated "reg" price. Kohls had to pay $500,000 to settle this - twice. PLEASE COMPARE PRICES WITH SIMILAR STORES. They continue to deceive the consumer. You are dumb if you assume you're getting great prices at Kohls.

Earned $120 in kohl's cash and since I live out of town and couldn't use it I was assured I could use it on line, not once but several times. When that failed, customer service told me I couldn't use it on line. They have trouble getting their stories straight apparently. Had to spend lots of money there to get that much in kohl's cash, but that will be the last time. When I come back to town for more Christmas shopping, it will definitely not be at kohl's. They should give you the opportunity to use this promotional "cash" right away. I will never fall for this again.

I ordered a product from Kohl's. Ten days later, they canceled the order for no reason. I checked their website again just now, and they still sell the exact item, but they have now raised the price. Very sneaky! Avoid this store; there are plenty of other options out there.
I loved my experience ordering online. I have been a big Kohl's fan for several years now. I went to the store and got frustrated when they didn't have items in my size. It was also hard to find things, since it was during the holiday return and sales rush. I gave up and went to Kohls.com. I was able to order everything I wanted. The order came about a week later. FREE SHIPPING! When I received the clothes not all of them fit or I just didn't like the style, so I simply took the items that I did not want back to the store, got a full refund on the items, no questions asked, and was very happy with the transaction. Since then I have had only one problem. Not all of the merchandise in the store is carried online, so I have had trouble finding a specific style bra that I am looking for.

Wow, what a horrible experience. We ordered a Christmas present for our nephew that lives across the country (we: Virginia, him: Oregon). We ordered on December 12. By December 20 it still had not shipped and customer service told us it would not ship until after Christmas. It would have been nice to be notified, but anyway, we decided to cancel, but since there is no way to do this online, we had to wait 45 minutes on the phone only to be told that, even though it hasn't shipped yet, they cannot cancel the order. They told us that my nephew would have to pay to have it sent back to a store after he received it. Like I'd ask them to incur that expense. They wouldn't even change the shipping address to our address so that at least we could be responsible for returning it (after they charged us shipping for a product we don't want). There only excuse for not sending it in time for Christmas was that they were busy with lots of orders. Gee, I thought that was their job. Hopefully, they won't have that problem next year!

I've had no trouble so far with having things ordered online shipped super fast. I know one items arrived intact and that it works. I'm waiting to hear about the other 2 but see no reason why there would be a problem. I think their online service is very good and have also gotten useful replies to emails from them. However, I advise against getting their in-store credit card if there is any chance you won't be able to pay a bill on time because you find out quickly how they are able to finance their sales when they charge a whopping $25 late fee if you miss the deadline on a payment! In my case I had moved to a new address and missed a bill. The customer service people were snippy and rude and insisted on charging me despite knowing the situation. I really resented that because it is subpar performance given American's longstanding tradition of respectful treatment of the consumer by many of its best businesses.

I was charged for 2 cribs until their vendor picks up the damaged crib via ups.I have called Kohls 3 times for time of pickup and after a couple of weeks I know I will have to pay for 2 cribs.UPS finally picked up the second crib that they drug behind their truck after 10 days. The new crib was also damaged but the damaged piece from the 1st was ok in the 2nd. The packaging of this product was not good and I recommended this item to relative who also had it arrive damaged.I will never recommend online gift shopping from this store again.Customer service and their supervisors were terrible and after 7 calls and 3 weeks , I still have no idea when I will get my money credited to my account.

Not impressed with customer service. The sandals I ordered for my daughter were a little too small so I decided to order the next size. I have to pay the complete $6.95 for shipping and handling (for a pair of flip flops!) and will not be reimbursed for any shipping, even when I return the first pair. I know for a fact that JCPenney will ship the same item if reordered in a different size at no cost to the customer. I feel that is wonderful customer service on JCP's part. The Kohls customer service rep I talked to on the phone was just plain rude to me. This is the second disappointing experience with Kohls.com for me; I should have known better.
Their store in Goshen, Indiana - The WORST customer service I have ever seen!!!! Everyone there is incredibly rude and seems put out when you ask a question. Even management literally stands by and won't help when there's an issue. It's unbelievable. I have never seen anything like it. No reason other then they could not ship.Checked credit statement on line found they charged my card on 9-9 still trying to get corrected or item shipped ( I think they just did not want to sell for sale price which was 1/2 price as the following day the item no longer showes up. at the site i was on it is know $118.00 I bet they can ship it if i order it at that price.

I placed an order for 4 Sonoma life+style Heathered Thermal Henley shirts on Nov. 24, 2007. They immediately charged my Credit Card, but I heard nothing from them. Finally, I received an email telling me that they had discovered a problem with their shipping department, but had now corrected it and they would be sending me an email when they shipped my order. Now, 11 days later, they send me an email cancelling my entire order. Their so-called $6 sale, is obviously false, in order to entice you to their web site.
Shop at Kohls.com at your peril.
I see that Kohls has now raised the price on this Item, and still have them for sale.

I've shopped online and in the store, and I prefer to shop in the store. Kohls' online clearance is so limited, but if you walk into the store you have those sizes that you can't find online.

Kohl's apparently hasn't hired enough customer service representatives for their phone or email service. Since Nov. 29, two days after Cyber Monday, I have sent at least 7 emails to account.help@kohls.com and customer.service@kohls.com. I wanted to cancel the order I made just after midnight on Cyber Monday. They have YET to respond to ANY of my emails, much less didn't even send me an email confirmation of my order. Now, it's too late to cancel because of their ineptitude.
On Sunday, I FINALLY got through to their customer service phone number. She was very nice, but at that point, was unhelpful.
Their customer service email addresses are fraudulent. No one apparently reads any of their messages. Probably because they have so much dissatisfaction to sift through, it's too much of a monumental task.

Never had a problem with Kohls. I even have a Kohl's charge card. It's so worth it. Their prices are unbeatable!!! I went to JCPenny's to buy a dress. The cheapest I could find was 45 dollars and the cheapest shoes were 30 dollars. I went to Kohl's and got a dress and two pairs of dress shows for 46 dollars!!! Their products are good quality and around Christmas they usually send a 30 percent off coupon.

As far as I'm concerned, Kohl's online might as well be Scrooge. For the second year in a row, an item shown as available and promised for delivery, never arrived and 3 weeks after the order was placed (same as last year), the order was cancelled by Kohl's. Why does it take 3 weeks to figure out you are out of stock on an item. These were important items on my kids wish lists that I might have gotten elsewhere if given enough notice...but so much for that...the kids will be disappointed AGAIN!

Do not get suckered into getting involved with the Kohls credit card when you are at the checkout at Kohls. They always offer you a discount if you open a card-I was stupid enough to do so. Their credit department has the most incompetent employees I have ever dealt with. They wrongly reported me delinquilent to the credit bureau, lowering my credit score and then refused to correct the problem. I closed my account, cut up the card and will NEVER shop at that store again!!!!!!!!!! There are too many good customer service oriented retail outlets for them to be treating folks like they do.

I am not having a very good experience with this company and its a shame, too because it is not easy to find places that carry things in plus sizes. Unfortunately I don't live near an actual Kohl's store. I placed my order two weeks ago, it took them nearly a week just to ship it, and then I find out (only by tracking my package with UPS) that the package was damaged in shipment, probably from not being well packaged as this was only a couple of shirts, and sent back to the shipper. Well, it is a week later I have emailed them 4 times. I also emailed UPS and heard back from them. They told me that it was returned to the shipper and that Kohl's had a claim filed. Yet they have yet to notify me of anything and when I email them I get a canned response about how they are researching my order and will let me know what is happening as soon as they find out. Apparently they already know. I will not use them again.

Lots of sales and special offers. I regularly shop the clearance section-- I found $45 pants for my teenage boys for only $11, and they were not factory seconds. I also found some good birthday party presents and hostess gifts in the clearance section. Products have been good quality, delivery speed fast, orders accurate. I recommend this for people stationed overseas who shop for their kids / teens.

Horrible, You can't take your time, because they refresh every 20 minutes (but don't tell you that) so while you are shopping for other items, they are selling the items out of your shopping bag to someone else. As if the customer service isn't bad enough in the stores, they have made on line shopping the most frustrating experience ever. Just when you think you have gotten a bargain, you go to check out and none of the items in your bag are available any more. NEVER AGAIN!!! and I am tempted to cut up my Kohls charge so I never have to deal with them again.
I have shopped at Kohl's for many years. They have good sales, good quality in everything. I moved away from the
store itself and plan on shopping on line.

I have had no trouble ordering through Kohls.com. The check out process is easy and I received my merchandise within a week. Plus sometimes they have free shipping if you order over a certain amount. The return process is easy as well, just bring it back to the store if you dont want something.
Waited 2 1/2 weeks for order, when shipped order was lost. They tried to replace the item but were unavailable. I had emailed with questions three times but never received a word. I finally called and after the third call I did talk to someone who was helpful and told me if I go to the store and purchase the items they would match what I had paid on-line. But that does defeat the purpose of ordering on-line.

I found some Misses Levis stretch denim jeans on their website that I wanted to purchase. That was all fine and dandy until I tried to order them. Kohl's does not know when they will be getting any more because they are supposed to be out of stock. They said to check back every day to see if they received any more.I called Levis and they said that they don't even sell the style that Kohl's has on their website. The shorts that I am waiting for. I have called Kohl's on several occasions on the status of these and I have sent them emails. I do not know if they just don't care about their customers or if they are really ignorant.
I am not happy with Kohl's at this point. They do not replenish their merchandise the way they should and the call center has a very nonchalant attitude about this problem.

Buyer beware! Please check your order very carefully! I applied a 10% discount code and placed my order. Later I realized that I did not receive the 10% discount, my subtotal (price of all items combined) did not add up correctly and mysteriously I was overcharged the exact amount of my "10% discount". When I added up my purchases - only 4 items, it totaled $45, when they totaled it, it came out to $49. I am still fighting customer service about it - simple 2nd grade math, use a calculator!
I discovered shopping at Kohl's thru my sister-in-laws in NJ ...they are avid Kohl's shoppers...I also shopped in NC and now Kohl's has recently located to the central NY area and I can enjoy them even more often..I also shop online and have found employees and products to be of the highest quality ...the sales are the best I have ever seen!!!
Kohl's a name I trust..a loyal shopper...

Avoid the Kohls Charge Card like the plague. Read the fine print about their policy of delaying posting of payments as much as five (5) business days. Cute way to impose both an unbelieveable late fee and a finance charge. Cancel your Kohls Charge Card. If you must shop Kohls, use a national charge card or pay cash. Also avoid their offer to directly debit your checking account. As screwed up as their accounting system is, I would never trust their security.

Lousiest service I ever had. I ordered online for the Grandkids in Oct and was never told the items are not available. They were not going to ship them or notify me that the items are not available. When I ordered them at the Kohls online store it said available. every day I check my order and it says in fullfillment with a delivery day of Nov 5th, it is now past the delivery date so I decided to give them a call. I was shocked when they said it is not available and will never be shipped. I asked why nobody notified me and the lady kept saying it will not be shipped.. it will not be shipped! I now have nothing to give to my grandkids for Thanksgiving. They wanted the Rubiks cube and now they have nothing. I will never shop there again. Beware of Kohls.

Was a little sceptical when reading other reviews from this store, but the item I bought, was delivered 1 week earlier than expected, packaging was good and everything was in the box, undamaged. Their confirmation of purchases was instant and their tracking information was prompt, no problems at all.

Slowest Shipping ever, I have never had a package lost or misplaced by UPS, Fedex, DHL, or USPS. and it had happend TWICE with them. Fedex Smartpost is a CROCk. forget KOHLS and their cheap shipping, It may be free with a code online but "you get what you pay for". I WILL NOT shop with them again, customer service is condesending and have no information..

I love the regular Kohls stores, I only shop on line if there is an extra special sale and can't make it to the store, but their shipping speed sucks big time. I only shop on line if they have specials in shipping, like 99cent/item or free. There is NOWAY I would order from them and pay regular shipping.
