We love the coffee from this coffee maker, but continually have a problem with the timer. It seems that very low voltage drops wipe out the timer and we don't have coffee when we get up in the morning. This happens several times per week. No other electronic clock in the house (we have several)suffers from this problem and I suspect it's the circuitry.

pure junk! i made the purchase, and returned home to set up the machine. upon running water through the first time it leaked all over the place. it leaked out the bottom, and the seam close to the bottom. this machine was to replace another krups that only lasted less then 2 years.
so i think it's time to change brands. it also will not fit under most kitchen cabinets. for the price it seems to be rather cheaply made through the whole unit. after retunring it to the store i made the extra investment to move up to a capresso, and so far WOW what a joy!!!

We have had a continual problem with the handle on the carafe coming lose and finally breaking through the plastic handle. We have attempted to fix it several times, but it continues to eat away at the plastic handle and now has reached a point where it can no longer be repaired. The only option we were provided was to purchase a whole new carafe when all we need is a new handle. We're disappointed with the backup service provided by this company and will probably have to switch to another more dependable design coffee maker.
