LG VX6100 Cellular Phone

Pros: Voice commands are very handy while driving.
Cons: Dropping features unexpectedly and permanently. I take very good care of my phone.

I like the phone, but suddenly my alarm clock stopped working - and, on a morning when I was depending on it. I understand from reading around on the web that others have experienced this "feature."

Also, suddenly the time appears on the outside screen only now and then, instead of all the time like it's supposed to. So, after a couple months of use, this phone is dropping functions right and left.

Pros: Color screen is nice, menus easy to navigate.
Cons: Drops alot of calls, side buttons can operate while inside pocket.

I got this phone to replace a Motorola T720 that would not take a charge anymore due to a bad port on the phone. Initially, I was pleased with the phone. But, as time went on I found alot of things really bothered me. When carrying the phone in my pocket, it often starts snapping pictures, or changes from normal to driving or manner modes on its own. It appears the buttons on the side of the phone can be depressed ever so slightly causing these things to happen while in my pocket.

I experience alot of dropped calls with this phone, more than with my two previous Verizon phones and more than other people I know who also have Verizon service, so I am pretty sure it is not the service.

The battery stopped holding a charge after about 6 months and I purchased a high-capacity replacement that has been good so far, for almost a year. I always run the battery down before recharging, so I am pretty certain I didn't kill the first battery through improper charging practices.

Pros: Many features, good battery life, camera, speakerphone, Cheap
Cons: The earpiece volume is a bit low but i may be going deaf!

I tend to do a lot of research before buying electronic equipments and I've read quite a lot about the VX-6100 before I bought it. I am glad I bought it. I have tried different cell phone models and this is the best so far. It's got tons of bells and whistles, its menu is extremely simple, excellent reception and sound quality. The speakerphone comes very handy, and the camera is not bad. I paid $49.95 for the phone with a 2 year contract with Verizon, which by the way is the best cell phone company I've tried so far (i live in the bay area california). I don't think it can get any better for $49 bucks!

Pros: easy to plug in...
Cons: Side buttons pressed, switches to speaker, bad camera, quality, size limits, etc etc etc

Gah, this is the worst phone I've ever had. The side buttons get pressed in my pockets all day, leaving me with a full album of black pictures. It constantly changes into driving mode, from silent mode, which means it randomly rings as loud as possible at quite moments (meetings). The camera is bad quality, the flash is bad quality, it gets scratched easily, the camera cover is a joke (it flips up without even trying), and it can only hold an extremly small amount of space, so forget having a good true-tone or song on it, cause it won't work (it has the space, they just put a limit on it, probably because they were trying to think of ways to make it worse). I've had Nokia, Kyocera, and another brand, and they have all been much better than this piece of... bad product. :P This is the worst phone I've ever had. DO NOT BUY!

Pros: Durable, Great colors, fun features
Cons: Scratches easily

This has been my second cell phone and I have had it for 8 months so far and am having a great experience with it. The screen images are very clear and there is a wide array of colors that can be used. Phone features like voice recording and voice commands are very useful and nice to have. The reception is always really strong. The camera takes really nice pictures and the phone can store a lot of photos too.

Pros: Takes good pics, camera flip phone
Cons: cant find personal ringtones for it

This phone is very good even when you talk a lot on it because the battery lasts forever and it charges quickly, Flip camera phones are awesome very durable too.

Pros: reception/camera
Cons: battery/ear piece jack/softwear issues

I bought this LG VX 6100 from verizon and the whole 2 years i had the phone was like living a nightmear. The battry life was horable and the ear peice part of the cell would be stuck and you could only make calls by speaker phone only,no privacy.
