Additional personnel: Olga Tanon. Latin pop phenomenon Gloria Trevi has been going strong since the 1980s, and 2007's UNA ROSA BLU doesn't suggest any sign that she is slowing. Though the lead-off single "Psicophonia," a swirling, passionate ballad, finds Trevi leaning somewhat toward an adult contemporary sound, there is plenty of uptempo pop to be had, whether it's rock-driven ("Pruebamelo") or bright, bouncy dance-pop ("Lo Que Una Chica Por Amor Es Capaz"). Help from top-flight producers gives the album an appealing sheen, but it's Trevi's indelible vocal stamp that makes UNA ROSA BLU another winner in her discography. |
