Don't buy from these guys. They buy their stuff off international gray markets, undermining the manufacturers and hurting all the businesses that buy things through the right channels. Since they don't buy directly from the manufacturer their products don't have manufacturer's warranty or support. Yeah, they offer their own warranty, but it's not the same. I've heard nightmare stories about these guys, I'm amazed anyone has anything good to say about them. Their prices may often be the cheapest, but be warned: it's not worth it.

My experiences with them have been mixed, sometimes fine, sometimes delayed. I've only shopped with them a few times but after they screwed up one of my orders and didn't seem eager to correct it I looked elsewhere-- seems the same type of complaint others have. When I found out about their product sourcing I regretted having purchased anything with them at all.

As a brand new diver, I was torn between supporting my local dive shop or buying cheaper online. In the end, I bought some things at the shop because of the service and information they provide me, and a couple of items online because they were just so much cheaper. Leisure Pro was recommended by a friend, they answered all of my questions by phone, and I received my order on time. No complaints whatsoever.

Good prices, however worst customer service i have ever encountered. Fins arrived missing straps, took them over a week for "customer service" staff to send spare straps even after multiple calls. Please avoid Leisure Pro at all costs. If an issue presents itself you will regret doing business with them.

I have bought from Leisurepro most of my dive equipment. And I recommend them to all my dive buddies.

Their delivery time is extremely fast, and their customer service is outstanding, they do indeed stand behind the products they sell.

I had read a few questionable reviews for Leisure Pro on this site and did some research on my own. I had an EXCELLENT experience with my order. I was buying a Citizen watch which has to be purchased from an authorized retailer to carry the full warranty. Leisure Pro told me they were, but I went ahead and checked with Citizen anyway and they verified that they were an authorized dealer. I submitted my order on 12/11/03 in the early morning hours, paid for 3 day select shipping and received my order on 12/12/03 - What a surprise! All items were perfect and exactly what I ordered for excellent prices. What a great "etailer!" I would highly recommend them.

LeisurePro provides a wide range of products but has a very convoluted order verification process. Numerous emails between myself and Customer Service were required to verify my Billing Address vs my Shipping Address, since they were different. I used PayPal to pay for the order and still they could not verify my identity. Although I live in Tampa Fl they insisted that they could not verify my billing address in Miami Fl..? I guess they don't use an atlas.

I have purchased twice from Leisure Pro.

As for my first purchase:
-free shipping with orders over $49
-purchased on a wednesday morning and received the following monday
-excellent quality item!

My second purchase, however:
-shipping is stated to occur 2 days after purchase, but it did not ship for 4 days-all days during which the company has stated as shipping days
-i contacted the company through email and HAVE NEVER received a reply
-free shipping with orders over $49

I couldn't believe how fast my order arrived! And, it was all correct and fit!! I am so happy I chose to order from Leisure Pro, I saved and am completely satisfied!

Speed of delivery and so called "warranty" service is very disappointing. It takes them over three weeks to deliver to my APO what other companies send in a week or less. Take heed of the "not an authorized dealer". I call and speak to someone who knows nothing about the dive computer they sold me. In fact, the LP rep tells me to call the manufacturer for help but not to mention I bought the computer through them. I have to lie to get decent technical support? I now must jump through their hoops to return their defective product at my cost. I will be without my dive computer for approximately 6 weeks...5 of which are on their end. I might buy small things from them again but nothing that requires service or knowledge of product. Scratch that...after one year, and several rounds of the BS, I am done with Leisure Pro.

Delivery speed: bad because after 2 weeks I'm still waiting. Order accuracy: I don't know yet but they asked to mail the front and back side of my VISA card!!! Is that the way of working??? Customer Service: they have really enough information about me, my place, my card and still they ask for more information. Is it because I'm from Belgium? I'm not satisfied at all!!!

Received fantastic service and prompt delivery from Leisure Pro. Less than a week delivery time to Germany. Without a doubt I will use Leisure Pro for any equipment purchases in the future. Highest possible recommendation to all prospective customers.

Mix feelings about Leisure Pro. I Spend over a $1000, great price on a BC but after I received it I learned that the BC had some issues on the market. Leisure pro is not an authorize dealer so in case you have a problem with your gear you won't be covered by the warranty. I purchase a Oceanic Atom with the transmitter for $640, great price but the first unit that I received didn't work, they took their sweet time to exchange it but I finally got a working unit, to tell the truth I don't think that the unit was new, the package was open and I am sure someone at some point used the unit.
I am very please with all the items that I have bought from Leisure pro for the price that I paid but I think I was lucky after reading all the store reviews.

I have ordered a number of Scuba items at Leisure Pro. Value is always great. Service is great. Return policy is fair. Great selection. This is one of the first places I look to get what I need.

absolutely horrible to deal with concerning refund of defective items. received 8 items in June-three of which were broken on arrival. my snorkel mask had a broken seal around the left eye and two of the four snorkels had broken one-way valves. i immediately contacted Leisure Pro and was told to return them. after approximately 1 month i had not heard anything. i emailed customer service and was told that the items had been returned to the manufacturer. it is now another month later and i am still waiting. the company won't refund my money and i still have no equipment. customer service is no help-they just say to keep waiting!!

The selection is incredible! They carry practically every brand, and, based on what I've researched, their prices are lower than that of competitors. Staff is very knowledgeable and professional. My emails were answered within 24 hrs. To note, many items are out of stock (most likely due to great pricing), but they'll notify you when item is available. Just a great dive store in the middle of Manhattan!!

I had the worst experience I've ever had web shopping at Leisure Pro. I placed a large order and had to return 3 items. I was sent a RMA #, took the items to UPS for packing and shipping, then the trouble began!
They sent me an email stating they had received only one of the items. They refused to discuss the issue & called me a liar on the phone. The even told me they would indeed credit my account with the other 2 items, but wouldn't send me a conformation of the credit.
I ended up sending all of my evidence, emails, receipts, UPS statements etc. to the credit card company for examination. They found in my favor.
What a run around. I will never make another purchase from them. Nor would I recommend them to anyone. Do yourself a favor, spend a few bucks more elsewhere and save the hassle.

My experience with them was the pits. I ordered some items from them via UPS 2 day air. I got the stuff 8 days later. I have called them to credit the shipping back to me and still have not been credited. I will not buy from them anymore.

BEWARE: Leisurepro is not selling new products, "There is no communications from this company. I have called & sent email's about reciving old used product that i ordered and have not yet been contacted.

I'm a new diver and I have placed several orders over the past month or two including a dive suit, guages, hood, gloves, and regulators from Leisurepro. The shipments came fast, the products are great, and the price is fantastic! I highly recommend LeisurePro.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I talked to multiple people from Leisure Pro who assured me if I went through them my order would be sent out that day. I made it very clear how important this was because I needed it for a photo shoot I was having 6-9 brides flying out for.

I did 2 day air and they said it would arrive FRIDAY at the latest. It's now the following Wednesday and it STILL hasn't arrived - they have NO tracking (on a product I paid well over $1000 for) or an emergency line I can call since they are taking off TWO full weeks for Sukkos holiday.

I am very upset with this company! Horrible...

I placed an order online for dive lights needed for a checkout dive in two days. I placed the order and paid extra for next day shipping. The emailed transaction confirmation indicated that due to a company holiday the order would not ship for a week. I panicked. I looked for a cancel option in my account status, there was none. I wrote an email to the company to cancel the order. The order however, shipped when the store reopened from the holidays. To meet my dive commitment, I was required to buy the lights locally for the nigh diving checkouts.

Leisurepro has GREAT prices, and as evidenced by how they handled my transaction, their customer service is just as good. The communication was very professional. Leisurepro went the extra effort and paid for the shipping both ways and gave me a full refund. The order when it arrived was complete and packed as one would expect from a pro.

I will have no reservations in doing business with them again

I purchased a mask, snorkel, fins, boots and gloves.
I chose ground shipping and received my purchase in 3 days. I live on the east coast.
I ordered the wrong glove size therefore I returned them for credit. I ordered the correct size and LP did not charge me shipping and I receive the gloves in 3 days. I was pleasantly surprised and I will order from them again.

This is my third (large) order with Leisure Pro and it just can't get any better, Thank You for the excellent service

Ordered 2 dive mask and couldn't be more happy w/ the purchase.

I bought a computer from them under the assumption it would have full warranties. I gave me funny readings from the first dive. When I called LP about it, the said take it to your local dealer, who told me LP was not an authorized dealer and the product had no warranties. I called LP and the again told me to take it to a local dealer. Who once again told me that it was not purchased from authorized dealer and therefore they didn't want to touch it. So saving a little money cost me w a whole lot more when I had to purchase the same computer from an authorized dealer!

Leisure Pro does everything in their power to hide the fact that they are not authorized dealers for anything they sell and that are violating pricing policies for all the companies they carry. This means that later when you go get your item serviced for warranty work, it is not honored by any dive shop or manufacturer.


BAD BAD practice. Beware. Buy only from authorized dealers.

Great shop. I saved almost 250 dollars compared to the local dive shop. They had all the stuff I needed. I also put in some comments about a suit that I didn't find on their site and they actually replied offering an alternative. Super customer service.

I was new to the Internet shopping game when I first was looking for a set of fins and found them online at e-bay through leisurepro for $100.00 less than the local dive shop. I ordered and recieved them in 2 days, excataley what I ordered. Not thinking anything of it I was again looking for more dive gear when I moved down here to key West after coming back from IRAQ. I wanted a Zeagle Ranger and found one again on E-bay through leisurepro but had forgot it was them when I called to order it. They had my name in there database and everything went through without a hitch. Zeagle Ranger for $389.00 local shops here in Key West was selling same one for $600.00. Registered it with Zeagle so everything is good. Customer Service is wonderful, Have read some questionable reviews for Mel which is who took my order and I can tell you he was knowledgable and professional. Delivery was supposed to take 5 days, I got it in 2 days, no extra cost. Won't shop anywhere else

I bought dive packages for my husband and myself because the price was just too good to pass up on. Both of our regulators have failed and my husband's pressure guage flooded. They would not honor the warranty on the regulators and wanted us to pay for parts and labor to fix. I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. When it comes to regulators I would advise you not to risk your safety on a bargain. Luckily my husband was close to me when mine flooded or the situation could have gotten ugly. Please pay a little more and shop somewhere else for the big scuba items!

Leisure Pro says they can service everything they sell, too bad it takes so long to get back I had to rent for my trip.

FYI their return policy is terrible and unusable.
If you open the merchandise, you can't return it.
Then you are stuck with the manufacturer.
I had a backpack with a water bladder that broke first few times I used it.
It took almost 3 months to get a replacement.
Leisure Pro customer service was horrible, they kept telling me that I needed to deal with the manufacterer.
Do you really want to do business with a company that won't take broken items back? It's outdoor gear, sometimes you don't know if something is wrong until you use it.

I would advise going with a company that stands behinds the items it sells. Save yourself months of haggling with the manufacturer to get stuff repaired.

Best price on the casio watch I was looking for and the fastest shipping I've ever seen. Ordered the item at around 2 pm one day and received it 20 hours later.

I purchased a BCD fro Leisure Pro because of price and selection however because of the extremely poor level of customer service after the sale will never purchase from them again.

I ordered a tank and had to send it back and come to find out that they closed for two weeks for a jewish holiday. So I have to wait until they re-open to finish my order. A month has went by and I am still waiting on the tank. Not so happy! Poor Customer service. I hope that in the long run I will get what I paid for. I wish I never ordered from this company.

I have made 5 separate orders from Leisure Pro within the past 2 weeks, and every single time i get exactly what i ordered, in perfect condition, or much better than expected in the case of a used item, and they ship it to me faster than i can find the time to go to my local dive shop! If i order by noon, i get it the next day! Cant beat it! Need i evem mention their super low prices on everything?
