This had excellent controling and variety of controls. The music was good also but a bit repetitive, so it got old by the 6-7 mission. The graphics were good but still had a bit of the blockiness that some ps2 games can have. The overall gameplay was excellent with a good story behind it all many games lack. All this with a good price to go with it!

This game continues with the PC tradion of X-wing and Tie Fighter. It makes a nice transistion onto Console gaming - but the controls were eratic and difficult - especially weapon choices. Wish ther was more of a story here as well.

Still not sure how the story tied into the Star Wars saga, but I guess for some it won't matter. There's plenty of fighting, flying, shooting and the hits just keep on coming. Lack of ship choice and freedom was a dissapointment. As well as the directional controls. Maybe ships in outer space really fly like that, but us earth based humans are still trying to adjust to flight with gravity. I hope the next installment will touch on a few of these isues.
