After only having this Vacuum cleaner 6 months, it shuts off after about 5 minutes of use. I let it sit for about 15 minutes or more, then it will turn on. I then get to use it for another 5 minutes...you get the picture. Very disappointed in this machine.

This is the worst product I have ever purchased in my life.  I will never purchase another canister vacuum...I learned the hard way that I would have been better off to fork out the money for an Electrolux than to skimp on a vacuum cleaner that makes things dirtier than they were before I cleaned.

Have had to take it to the repair shop twice in its first 6 months. Out of the box it worked great but with time it is losing its suction.

When I first got it I was so happy. It was better than a Dyson! I got it less than a year ago and its constantly clogging up because we have dog hair from our German Shepherd. It is constantly over heating now and it will shut off and you cant use it for 15-30 minutes. The cord is extremely short and I am having to replug it everytime I leave to go to another room. We have a small house so the rooms arent that big. It doesnt clean hardwood floors very well. Im actually taking it to be fixed tomorrow. I was told by the guy at this place to get the Hoover Windtunnel u5753900. He feels this one is much better.

I love this machine. I am a male so the weight doesnt bother me at all, Some people said it was to heavy, but i dont think so. I do clean it out every time i use it but mostly just because how much dirt is picked up, just looks nasty. vary powerful, and vary stylish, my new favorite toy.

Cons: The brush rolls only when it wants to.  There is almost no suction.

Because it looks like a space robot, I thought my new Hoover Mach 5 might have advanced technology making vacuuming more efficient.  But while it looks good, I've found looks can be deceiving.  The brush rolls only when it wants to (the belt seems to be tight enough) and there is almost no suction (put your hand under it find out how little suction there is!).  I'm going to try to have my NEW vacuum serviced.  If it works better after servicing, I'll write another review to let you know.
