Pros: Excellent and detailed view of an all American kinda guy. Cons: Can't find one thing wrong, although a few more pictures could never hurt.
Years and years ago I was forced to watch 'studio wrestling' with my older brothers. After years of side russian leg sweeps and methodic take downs I developed an interest in the sport. In the 80's the sensation of wrestling was rekindled with the...

Pros: A great account of Foley's life Cons: People who don't follow wrestling may not understand some parts of the book
The first thing that struck me about the autobiography of this wrestling legend is the front cover. I'm not one to judge a book by its cover but I did wonder if letting a wrestler who had suffered so many injuries (to the head in particular) was such a...

Pros: Excellent writing style and an interesting life. The only things you need to have a good bio/autobio. Cons: A bit too...erm...touchy.
I love wrestling. In particular, I love the WWF. (You know that if you read my opinion of WWF Smackdown. I'm not trying to get a cheap buck: I'm legally unable to join Eroyalties. Ah, crud, here comes the ticket.)
That passage in...

Pros: A funny, intelligent, often brilliant biography Cons: Some minor issues with the writing style
As a longtime wrestling fan, I was glad to finally pick up my copy of Have a Nice Day! this week, and read it in a day and a half. Then, out of curiosity, I checked the Epinions reviews, and whoa - five stars after five stars after five stars...

Pros: Please read opinion, all will be revealed! Cons: " "
When Mick Foley decided to write his autobiography, he was greeted with many laughs and jibes. If you have ever had the pleasure to watch Foley perform then you will notice that he does not look anything like an author. But then again, what is an author...

Pros: great story, Mick is the Guy Cons: 500+ pages, I found it no problem, but some will
700+ pages of scratch down notes, written on airplanes, buses, backstages, and through pain, makes this one of the best biographies I have ever read. This real life tale of a man so passionate of his profession that he will drive 1700 miles round trip...

Pros: An intriguing, hilarious, touching, and insightful look not only into the life of one very unique individual, but into the bizarre world of professional wrestling. Cons: Don't buy this one for the kiddies. There is spotty language, and some sexual references. There are a few typos too but who's counting? :)
If I could force mainstream America, in its suffocating skepticism, to read one book, it would be Mick Foley's stunning autobiography Have a Nice Day. For decades, America has, and I fear always will, looked down on pro wrestling as a hack profession....

Pros: Funny, Very Informative, You want to keep reading and can't put the book down Cons: Not for children - a lot of cursing and sexual refrences
This is one of - no, it is the greatest piece of literature ever created. I was never a big reader and haven't picked up a book for years. But when I first heard of Mick Foley writing a book, I knew I had to read it. I have been a wrestling fan since,...

Pros: very interesting, superbly written Cons: none
I love wrestling, in particular the WWF. I know what some of you may say; wrestling is fake and how can you enjoy watching it. My response is that it is entertaining and that I respect what the wrestlers do for their fans; whether it be in a high school...

Pros: Great, fun and detailed flowing story. Cons: None
I haven't always been a big Mick Foley fan. In fact, up until Royal Rumble 1998, I didn't even realize Cactus Jack, Mankind, and Dude Love were one person. Count on me to not "get it."
Of all the personalities though, I was...

Pros: Wonderfully written, funny, interesting Cons: Lots of blood and some potty humor
Finally, after being on the waiting list at the library for nearly 3 months, I got a chance to read this book. I must say it was well worth the wait!
I had been a huge fan of wrestling when I was young, and have just been getting back into it...
