Pros: Lots of funny wrestling anecdotes Cons: My hero is an a**ehole
There's a saying I can't quite remember about not getting too close to your idols, in case the gold paint comes off on your hands. That's exactly how I feel after reading Mick's book. Sad as it no doubt sounds to some of you, I'm sure wrestling fans...

Pros: great book Cons: none that I have found so far
So you think that wrestling is fake. You think that all wrestlers are dumb jocks with no talent except to bounce around a ring. Well guess what one of those wrestlers as a matter of fact two have best selling books. The first wrestler in history...

Pros: The sentiment and heart. Cons: Can't find any.
It must be a said that I'm a BIG wrestling fan, and I mean all organisations, not just the WWF. Before I read this book, I must admit that my favourite incarnation of Mick Foley's was Mankind, but after reading the book I soon changed my view.

Pros: A heartfelt tale of the life of an amazing superstar! Cons: None!
Mick Foley is one of the hardest working men in wrestling, and nobody could possibly disagree with that statement after reading "Have a nice day!" I would highly recommend this book to anybody who thinks that wrestling is "fake." One...

Pros: Great writing and stories, deep insight, Foley's book is a must buy Cons: None
"They know how to fall..." "Look how they stomp their foot when they punch..." "I could be a pro wrestler, its so easy..." These are the words muttered by so many nay-sayers of pro wrestling through out America...But can you...

Pros: Very real, insightful, honest Cons: Slightly rough in literary terms
Mick "Mankind, Cactus Jack, Dude Love" Foley's tale of his life in pro-wrestling is nothing short of amazing. Despite not being the sharpest writer around, he tells a fantastic tale about his slow, steady rise through the various wrestling...

Pros: insight on life, very descriptive Cons: none
As being a wrestling fan myself, I would say Mankind is a wrestler that gives it his all. His biography written with 9 notebooks as he says, takes a look at all the blood, tears and sweat he has given to the sport. With a in depth review of his...

Pros: The ultimate life story on a man who has literally sacrificed life and limb to entertain us. Cons: As the warning says in the opening flap: "This book is not for the squeamish." This book contains obscene language and some offensive material.
This book tells the tale on one man's fight to get to the top. The "Hardcore Legend" tells you on all the triumphs and losses he has had in his fifteen year career as a "sports entertainer"
The 503 page novel by Mick Foley was...

Pros: honest, funny, and exciting Cons: few print errors
Do you really want to know how prejudice this society is? Many major book reviewers would not review this book. Why is that? Because Mick Foley is a wrestler. But they would rate a book by a white house intern who tried to sleep her way to the top. Oh...

Pros: great story, Cons: none
This might be a little biased, basically because I really enjoy watching wrestling, and Mick Foley is one of my favorite wrestlers. But here goes. This is the greatest book I have ever read. No doubt. "The Mick," move over, "Eight Men...

Pros: This book is great! This is recommended to all fans of this guy! Cons: Since everyone will be knocking everyone else down for this book, Im suspecting that the stores may charge alot of money for it.
Not many of you know this but the wrestler known as The Rock actually wrote his own book about his life! I was lucky enough to get "Know Your Role" from a shelf early before anyone else could. We all know that Mick Foley a.k.a. Mankind had his...

Pros: Great book, and it is written BY a wrestler. Cons: It's a book, not that many people like to read anymore.
Mick Foley, The king of Hardcore, Mankind, Dude Love, Cactus Jack. Whatever you want to call him he is the man, the myth, the wrestler. Mick's new book, Have a Nice Day!, is a fairly good sized book coming from a pro-wrestler. Now a-days that everyone...

Pros: Mankind!!!! Cons: Not enough of the Rock. :-)
Mankind was a psychotic wrestler/loving father, well that was until he decided to write a book. Right after this he became a psychotic wrestler/loving father/bestselling author! HELL HAS FROZEN OVER! I read a critic in the Detroit News who said Hell...
