Pros: VERY QUIET, super rooms, the staff Cons: Parking, beach, location, no spa
We have gone as a family to Waikiki several times. I thought that this would be a nice change. It is said that Maui is the most expensive of all the Hawaiian islands. It is hard for me to say since I have only been to Waikiki before, the cheapest place ...
Pros: see review--I can't list them all! Cons: A bit farther from nightlife, less updated room decor
It was with some trepidation that we booked at the Villas, given the mix of reviews they had gotten on other websites. However, we felt confident that we could, if necessary, complain our way into a better room. We arrived late at night, and the check-in ...
Pros: Quiet part of Kaanapali Beach, Kitchens in rooms, Quiet Area not near the big resorts Cons: Only one restaurant near hotel, must drive or take trolley for other restaurants
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Kaanapali Villas in Aug for six days. We got an oceanview studio r ...
Pros: Roomy condos. Nice Grounds. Good Location. Cons: No Spa.
The Maui Kaanapali Villas resort is a nice, quiet, roomy and affordable resort on the West side of Maui. Easily to locate, just a few minutes North of Lahaina, the resort has beautifully maintained grounds and plenty of beach front.
Great management, nice location. by darcia ,Mar 31 '05
Pros: Not many restaurants in close-by, at last time we were there (2002). Cons: Close to one of the greatest beaches in the Hawaii.
We stayed at the Ka'anapali Aston Villas in 2002, and did initially have a poor experience where I wrote to them and explained our issues with the hotel. The studio we stayed at was a privately owned condo that Aston managed and rented out as part of their complex. The management was very accommodating, listened well, and with great integrity and good faith offered us a couple nights stay free of charge the next time we visit, with a promise of "true commitment to service". I just want to say that this property has a great staff that works hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and recommend it highly.
Mahalo Ka'anapali Villas, we'll be back!
Pros: roomy, quiet, nice landscape, by the beach Cons: need to drive or take the trolley to shopping centers and hot spot.
Arrived to find that no reservation was listed at the property even though Aston central reservation has our reservation which was made back in March. Someone messed up big time with our reservation. Each side blamed the other for the problem. Since they were no room for us the 1st night, we had to stay at Kanaapali Beach Hotel for one night. The hotel manager, Ann, was able to help us the next day and was able to arrange for us to stay in 2 different rooms that were an upgrade from the room we reserved. One has garden view and kitchen and the decor was very comtemporary and nice. The 2nd one was a one bedroom aptmt near the ocean, but the decor was bit dated. If it was not for the reservation missed up, the experience would have been real nice and relaxing. Check with the property ALWAYS. Don't rely on the Aston reservation to get it right!
