Pros: easy to reach those hard to reach areas without stooping Cons: doesn't get into the corners of the tub/shower as advertised
I saw the commercials for the Mr. Clean Magic Reach. It sounded like it was something that I could really use. It showed cleaning the tub, shower, walls, and even floors. It also gave the website that you could get a $3.00 off coupon. I promptly ...

Pros: Great product, easy to use Cons: None that she has mentioned.
After first seeing the Mr. Clean MagicReach Starter Kit on the television. I thought this would be good for my mother who has a very hard time with reaching when she cleans her house. She often throws her back out and I thought this may be a way to help ...

Pros: Easy to assemble & use, takes up little space, smells very clean, has multi use! Cons: Tile and Grout pads didn't clean thoroughly enough.
I received my Mr. Clean Magic Reach kit last week. I was actually ready for the weekend to hit so I could do my usual top to bottom weekend cleaning spree. So Saturday morning I decided I needed to mop my kitchen floor. Instead of going for the ...

Pros: Takes uncomfortable stretching and bending out of bathroom cleaning Cons: You have to rinse the shower walls after you scrub with the Magic Reach pads
The idea behind the Mr. Clean Magic Reach is sheer brilliance. I received it at a time when I was suffering from sciatica, and tasks like scrubbing the shower or behind the toilet were nearly impossible, so imagine my delight at receiving a cleaner...on ...

Pros: Love the different pads, design, effectiveness and versatility of this product- excellent for maintenance. Cons: A little hard to put together; not ideal for super-thorough cleaning jobs.
I received this product to try out and review, and I have to say that I'm impressed. It's easy to use (although I had some trouble putting it together the first time- I just chalked that up to my being supremely inept at all things mechanical), and has ...

Pros: Strong construction, gets in corners, eliminates standing in the bath to clean the opposite wall! Cons: Should come with more refills
I wrecked the box opening it, so I knew there would be no returns! I didn't find the MagicReach hard to put together at all. The three handle pieces fit well together, and snapped into the detachable head with ease. Not having read the ...

Pros: Extension rod saves back straining, cleaning pads are all you need! Cons: I honestly cannot think of a single one! I'm hooked!
I love this cleaning product sooooo much, I called my best friend and told her I was in love with another man...MR. CLEAN!!! I have terrible arthritis in my back and neck, and the Magic Reach saved me from a lot of pain when cleaning my bathroom! ...

Pros: I like the shape..it gets into corners easily. Leaves a fresh clean scent. Cons: Too much to fool with, put together.
I received the Magic Reach as a sample in the mail. As soon as I saw it I thought it was different and looked to be a little too much compared to what I am use to. When I clean I prefer to get on my hands and knees to deep clean the floor or shower. ...

Pros: Shape of tool good, Grout cleaning edge a plus. Cons: No hook to hang to store. Impossible to take apart to use as hand tool.
I bought this because I have trouble with my knees, and it is too hard for me to kneel and scrub the bathtub. I liked the shape of the tool, and knew that by design I would not be able to get as much pressure scrubbing as I had with a hand brush. ...

Nice product for a quick cleaning
by algeorge ,Nov 22 '04
Pros: Nice fresh scent, adjustable pole length, mobility of swivel sponge head. Cons: Didn't walk away with feeling that I got the bathroom really deep down cleaned.
I got this product in the mail as a sample-- when I saw it I was really excited to use it. However, the assembly is not as easy as I was hoping. I like a product that you can take out of the box and just snap together and you're done--- this appeared to be that way, until I started fiddling with it. It took me a good 15 minutes if not more to figure it out!!
Once together, it's a very easy product to use. I like how it gets into tough to reach places in the bathroom corners and behind the toilet.
For a deep down cleaning, I feel as if I needed a little bit more scrubbing action.

Mr. Clean MagicReach Starter Kit
by jclaise81 ,Nov 20 '04
Pros: Good for cleaning floors, nice smell Cons: Assembly, pads not strong enough, head swivels around too much
I have to disagree with a lot of these people - I really didn't like this product, which I got as a free testing sample, and probably wouldn't use it again.
The assembly wasn't terribly hard, but it did take me a minute to figure out how to set it up. Once I started to use it in the shower, the "flexible" head starting flipping around all over the place. Also, the scrubbing pad didn't seem strong enough to remove the soap scum.
It works much better as simply a handheld product, except for when I used it to clean the floor - it was pretty useful for that.
Overall, it's not a bad product, but I personally prefer something simpler. I wouldn't purchase it on my own.

Mr. Clean MagicReach
by sparkleblue22 ,Nov 22 '04
Pros: You didn't have to kneel or bend over while scrubbing the tub. Cons: The locking mechanism could've been stronger on the handle extension.
Overall, I liked the Mr. Clean MagicReach. Once the soap was activated with water, it cleaned really well. However, I found that it worked better as a tub cleaner than as a mop.

Good Idea
by persephone68 ,Nov 19 '04
Pros: Easy to use, can be used for multiple tasks, good reach.
Cons: Needs a stronger cleaning pad for showers/tubs with tough soap scum.
I like the concept of this product. It was nice to not have to kneel and lean into the tub to clean it. It's handy for mopping also, which makes it good for cleaning the whole bathroom with just one tool. My only complaint would be the strength of the tub cleaner. I need something a little stronger to cut through soap scum. Otherwise, I thought it worked well and the pads left the bathroom smelling really clean.

Great for Disabilities
by blankpixel ,Aug 24 '05
Pros: Extendable, easy to use even with swollen hands, can reach anywhere. Cons: Blue head could be a little more flexible.
This thing is awesome. I use a wheelchair a significant portion of the time and this thing allows me to clean the showers, bathtub, sink, floor, everything! I don't even have to get off my chair to do it, I can just extend the wand. I would love for it to extend another foot or so, but as is, it's greatly helpful. The level of bathroom cleanliness since I was injured has gone WAY up after finding this product.

Efficient back and knee saving product
by cardmakinmom ,May 19 '06
Pros: textured pad, shape of head, ease of assembly Cons: none
I thought it was easy to assemble and easy to use. I bought it to save stress on my arthritic knees and back and it did just that. The shape of the head and the pre-soaped textured pad make quick and easy work of the soap scum on two tub/shower combo's. I was pleasantly surprised I had enough soap for both. The pad was still in great shape so I rinsed it off and will use my own Mr. Clean cleaning products with it in the future. The pre-moistened pad for floors left no streaks and the head fits nicely around the rounded base of the toilet and saved me from having to bend and reach behind the toilet.
