Pros: Works well on crayon and fingerprints on painted surfaces and hard plastic surfaces (keyboards, etc..)
Cons: Didn't take marker (months old) off the walls and will dull painted surfaces.

Pros: Really gets in the grooves as it says.
Cons: Falls apart pretty quickly.
Summary: I have a kitchen counter with a lot of little grooves in it. Used to use a toothbrush to get out all of the dirt. This sponge removed the embedded dirt like it was nothing. Also, it did clean the refrigerator door handle which I had given up hope on.
