Pros: Bright, vivid colors, small footprint for a 20" swivel screen. Cons: Dark lines will cause a vertical shadow, makes a high pitched squeal when powered up.
I purchased this LCD display on uBid for $998.00. I knew it was a great deal when I saw it was a new item and not something refurbished.

Pros: HIRES display, 'Xtra View' Portrait mode, RGB (BNC) input Cons: technically, only ONE usable mode (1280 X 1024) for crisp, clean TEXT display.
I am guessing this monitor first came out around Y2K since that's the timeframe the other comments are in.
I just bought this monitor used for $300. While I may have gotten a helluva deal on it, it does have some setbacks that had I discovered would have given pause to the purchase decision.
While it CAN go upto 1600 X 1200 resolution; the 'Native' rez it works best at is 1280 X 1024. Any rez below that will yield a distorted, jaggy TEXT display.
