Great Adirondack experience!
by tobilo ,Mar 13 '08
Pros: nice trails stone shop delicious food guided tours Day pass = seasons pass
Cons: - honnestly there are no- knowledgable cons, maybe: It's just opened through the summer months!
Everybody travelling through the ADKs should see this gorgeous Place! It's a throw- back to untouched nature! The Beckler family is a great host, providing guided tours, great food at the Ice Cream place and at the Caves themselves, offering great family activities - hey it's definetely a great place to see! Another special, which I really enjoyed and appreciated was the tour through the caves - an awesome outdoor adventure! You are getting dressed with funny- looking suites, helmets with inbuilt flashlights and you go on a adventure tour through the underground of the caves - You climb up walls, swim the underwater caves, and see the inside of the natural stone bridge.

Stone Bridge & Caves is not only a place for nature freaks - for all kinds of interests you can enjoy a day at the Caves.

A great and fair deal of course, since all purchased tickets are seasons passes, giving you the opportunity to come back anytime you want!

Pros: Many thing to do, Great Adirondack experience
Cons: Good weather is advised
We went last summer with my 3 and 4 year old boys. They loved the gemstone mining and crystal caves. The nature walk was beautiful and it was fun to explore the different caves.
