Pros: Compact, very nice pictures, video, auto focus, zoom, price and even has several picture enhancements. Cons: Could come with better picture software.
Nikon Coolpix 4600 Digital Camera I have always been interested in photography but Ive never took the time to delve further into the field. Lately I have had some extra time on my hands and decided to purchase a digital camera. I dont ...

Pros: Small and compact Cons: Too small
I finally broke into the digital world of cameras and so has my family. Our latest addition, that we all kind of shared depending on who is going where and when is the Nikon Coolpix 4600 Digital Camera. I must admit that it was the basic functions the ...

Pros: Great pictures, takes video, extremely durable, lightweight/portable, easy to use, tons of extras Cons: Flash takes forever, eats batteries, flash isn't that strong, no memory card
I'll admit it -- I'm a digital camera junky. I used to be ambivalent about my camera -- it was a top of the line Minolta, but it cost a ton to get pictures developed... and half the time I shot bad photos. Then, as a present from my father, I received ...

Pros: Very compact, Unique functions/modes, Price Cons: No audio in videoclips, Definitely for beginners
::| Intro |:::::::::::::::: Nikon usually stands out from the other digital camera brands because of its lenses. Though this camera fits all of my needs...I definitely have not seen any special difference in picture quality, so if that was your ...

Pros: Small, compact, lightweight and easy to use - great value. Cons: Unless you purchase a "bundle" everything is extra. Protective case, extra memory card, batteries.
Although small and lightweight this camera has every function you could wish for in a digital camera. The camera has many different facilities including a video clip function. The set up is on screen and takes you through easy to follow steps to ...

Pros: Compact, Good Pictures, "AA" batteries Cons: Wait Time to take next picture, Software
This was my first digital camera and did not seem too expensive or intimidating. I trusted the Nikon name and the guy at the camera store (Ritz) recommended it over the 5600, which was about $80 more for an extra megapixel and sound in the video. I ...

Pros: Many picture options; AA batteries; ease of use Cons: No sound on the video mode; cycle time on flash
I bought this camera the week before a trip to Europe. Though the reviews I read were tepid; I needed a camera that used AA batteries (not rechargable which I would have trouble with while traveling for more than a week). I installed a 512 SD Card and ...

Pros: Outstanding picture quality, compact size, clear LCD, tons of bells and whistles. Cons: Sub-par in low lighting conditions.
I had purchased this camera to upgrade from my aging Sony Cybershot 2mp camera. I chose Nikon because of its worldwide reputation in camera-making excellence, its price, and its SD Card format. I was very impressed with this camera's small size, but ...

Pros: Compact, good picture quality, a ton of options, easy to use. Cons: No audio with video recording, zoom is somewhat limited.
The Nikon Coolpix 4600 is a great camera for capturing everyday activities, whether it be family outtings, vacations, sporting events, recreation, high school or college life, etc. I was given this camera as a gift when leaving for college, and overall I ...

Pros: small, durable, compact, easy to use Cons: takes forever to get the photo, video doesn't have sound, not the greatest photo quality
I was so excited to buy my first camera. The guy at sears told me that the video had sound. However this camera doesn't allow that. The video does not have sound. It's very durable though. I have dropped it several times and it's still just fine. From ...

Pros: Easy to use yet sophisticated for more advanced use. Cons: Video is cheesy, but so what? Buy a camcorder
I already own a Nikon D100 digital camera but I needed an inexpensive digital for backup or just inconspicuously carrying around. This Coolpix 4600 came up on Craigslist for $75 so I decided to take a chance. While simple to use in its basic form - just ...

Pros: small and compact Cons: very slow, very short battery life, has lots of "errors" for no reason!
I got the Nikon 4600 for my 13th birthday. I thought it was the coolest thing and I was so excited. When I first opened it, I noticed it was compact, fun, and easy to use. I loved how it zoomed in really far without being blurry. But I also noticed ...

Pros: small size, sd card, great photos when no movement going on Cons: shutter delay, time to focus, slow flash recharge, battery life
I bought two of these cameras for my daughters based on good reviews and the Nikon name, and have been very disappointed. If you are patient, the pictures are great, but you have to have that patience while holding the shutter button down half way for ...

Pros: Intuitive menus, good form-factor, good construction Cons: Terrible in moderate-to-low light situations, frustrating overall experience indoors
Overall, the camera is intuitive to use and is functionally well designed. However, shooting in anything but the most ideal circumstances can be very frustrating. When focusing on a subject inside the house, I have had to try up to 20 times before ...

Pros: Clear pictures Cons: Easily broken, battery doesn't have long duration
I bought two digital cameras of Nikon Cool Pix 4300 and 4300. Both were broken. First one was fixed three times during one single year. The second one was broken during I was taking pictures. I won't buy Nikon cameras any more. I have had bad experiences.
