by briandalsmom Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, May 29 '03
Pros: Color screen, cool key pad design, built-in wallpaper with customization available
Cons: None so far!
I admit it, I have cell phone envy. Yep, I was the girl who always said all she needed was a phone to make calls on; she didn’t need those fancy bells and whistles. That was true, until my son got his new Nokia 3560. My phone is just a few weeks ...

Almost the Perfect Phone

by letters123 , Apr 22 '04
Pros: Excellent battery life. Great reception and sound quality. Internal antenna.
Cons: Difficult to see screen in sunlight.
I got this phone because my old Nokia 8260 was beat to pieces (but still working). When I shopped for a new phone, I asked the AT&T dealer which phone had the best reception far from a cell tower. I was guessing the Motorola V60i with the external ...

Et tu, Nokia?

by anastacya , Jan 06 '04
Pros: Very sturdy, colorful and nice ringtones, modestly priced and good battery life
Cons: The buttons are hard to push individually; you can dial a wrong number very easily.
It was time again for that annual crisis I experience... the renewal of my AT&T Wireless contract. I have just decided to stick with this company, since I have been with them for 3 years and they serve my needs. Similar to every year, I called and ...

An excellent member of the Nokia family

by sipecannon , Jan 08 '04
Pros: Attractive design, satisfying features, the backlight!
Cons: seems everyone has one, TDMA??
As cell phones become cheaper, smaller, and increasingly capable of doing everything for you, I hang on to the frugal end of the bandwagon, getting a free, yet cooler-than-anything-I've-had- thus-far, device. As is probably true for a lot of people, I ...

Pros: excellent sound quality and battery life, lots of useful features, fun games
Cons: no WAP browser, speaker phone, or dedicated volume keys, power button hard to use
By now I've completely lost count on how many Nokia phones I've had or used, but one think I know - until this one, I had never been happy with a Nokia phone. Besides the really long battery life that most Nokias seem to have, there has never been much ...

Excellent, durable cell phone

by cxc273 , May 24 '04
Pros: Inexpensive, easy to use, color screen, changeable faceplate
Cons: No camera; wallpapers and color schemes lame; voice dialing for only 10 numbers
I received the Nokia 3560 as an upgrade to an older Nokia candy bar-style cell phone. Those who are familiar with the popular cell phones won't be disappointed, as all the features one comes to expect from Nokia are included. The unit itself fits ...

Nokia 3560 a Big Disappointment

by eman7911 , Apr 16 '04
Pros: Compact
Cons: Short Battery life, Poor Keypad design causes wrong number punched

It's a Keeper!
by ctaranti ,Feb 26 '05
Pros: excellent reception, sturdy, and light weight
Cons: battery after a LONG while
I love this thing...I would not trade it again.
I recently thought to upgrade to a new Nokia model, which turned out to be a big mistake. I went back to my 3560 within 30 days. I am with AT&T and was sucked into the upgrade with Cingular thing...Boy was I wrong to try and do that.
I actually paid for the upgrade to get another "new" model with camera and web access. I am a simple girl with basic needs. I missed my 3560 and its simplicity.
The Nokia 3560 is one of the best phones and even new models don't compare. I recommend this phone to anyone looking for a simple phone with basic features; this will be your best friend.

Overall great phone!
by michele7783 ,Dec 26 '03
Pros: Easy to use, good service, cool features
Cons: The pixels are still big, and background pictures make it hard to see the writing.
I've had this phone for a while now, and it's awesome. The ringtones are awesome, the games are fun, and it's really easy to use. I got the phone through AT&T Wireless, and this phone is with their digital network. Usually digital networks are horrible where I live, which is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but everywhere around here I always have more than 4 bars of reception which is perfect. Everyone says they can hear me nice and clear. There's a huge clock that comes up as a screen saver, which is really helpful. There's color schemes, which helps a lot with the background pictures. This is an awesome phone, and I would definitely recommend it for everyone. It's not so high tech, so if you're one of those "I need tons of high tech features and will pay anything to get them" people, this wouldn't be very ideal. It's great for people that just want a simple cool phone.

Works Great - Not Ugly
by ruffennach ,Mar 16 '04
Pros: Excellent reception. Easy to use. Intuitive. Good voice quality - built in equalizer. Not ugly.
Cons: Bulky. Nice looking "candy bar style" phone but not as cool as a flip phone.
I have researched a number of cell phones and felt this was the best of the bunch. But because I have AT&T and want TDMA, there is not much of a selection anymore. Fortunately the 3560 is one of them.

Good phone but buggy
by pope_acid ,Sep 23 '03
Pros: Price, voice dialing, reception
Cons: firmware bugs, clarity of sound, lack of standard rings
I like everything about this phone, but there is definitely a bug in the firmware. Every one in a while when you pick up a call, the phone goes on constant vibrate. The call still stays connected, but you are unable to talk due to the vibration. The only way to stop the vibration is to power down the phone.
This is the second unit that has done this in about two months.

Taking TDMA to the next level.
by lowrider97 ,Dec 09 '04
Pros: reception, voice dialing, easy to use without book
Cons: none
Excellent reception (better than the V60i) , excellent battery life , good color display , about the right size and weight , best voice dialing system I have ever used. At 20 dollars after rebate its a great purchase. TDMA coverage in Tallahassee Area is good and this phone takes advantage of that.

Nokia 3560 good as people think?
by shingouki9999 ,Oct 12 '04
Pros: WAP, Pictures, Games, Downloadable Content
Cons: No features that stand out
When I first saw this phone I was like wow this has to be one of the best phones out. As time went by, I thought what are some of the features of the phone. A man at Cingular showed me a working model of the phone. I took a look at the features. It had WAP, Pictures, Games, able to download these things. There was really no featuers that stood out for this phone. I mean to an average person they might think hey I got to get this phone. But, I'm kind of not that average person. I look at stuff more deeply. I mean its a good phone no doubt about that but. Its only for those people that just use the phone for talking and don't do anything else. I grade this a average for average features.

Looks good, but looks aren't everything.
by dlearnest ,Mar 20 '04
Pros: battery life and call quality.
Cons: can't get wallpaper or tones, keypad, buttons stick or hard to push.
I had this phone for about 6 months, thought I was getting a cool phone to download polyphonic ring tones and wallpapers to. You can't download them though, you can get ring tones, but only monophonic. I quit using the preprogrammed wallpapers about 2 months in, realized that you could see the screen better and besides the pictures on the phone were not my style(come on a guitar with some guys hand on it), the preprogrammed ring tones got old too. Then the buttons started sticking and got hard to push. The battery life is great and call quality is good, and the design looks good, but practical its not.

Defective Phone
by qualityabc ,Jul 28 '07
Pros: Color screen, easy to handle, like its shape
Cons: Hard to turn on and off. Phone was returned (found defective) after 3 months!
I thought I was getting a great phone but after 3 months the phone broke. I can not receive any incoming phone calls nor when I try to place an outgoing call all I get is a busy signal. AT&T is charging me $25 to send out a replacement phone - so now I have to pay out to replace a defective unit - lucky me. By the way AT&T customer service is dreadful.

by marvelicious75 ,Apr 07 '05
Pros: Good features when it worked
Cons: NO durability at all.
This phone is about 7 months old. It randomly shuts off on its own, and now the 5 doesn't work. My 4th Nokia, and probably my last: they have been getting steadily less durable.

You Cannot POLISH a Turd.........................
by mlgibbs ,Oct 21 '05
Pros: Have not really found any I could say
Cons: Bad reception, poor sound quality, bad design on the keypad.
Got it from ATT wireless, which has now been sold to Cingular. Buttons are hard to push individually, Sound quality is very poor, reception in fringe areas is poor at best. I live in Rural South Georgia and it just is not the place for a play phone. The best phone I have ever had and am still using it with Nextel is the Motorola R750. OK it is big and bulky but it sounds like you are on a wired connection.
