  • Fabulous Features in this Nokia 3590 Cell Phone--Worthy of a look!

    Apr 22 '03
Pros: Lightweight, good reception, lots of features
    Cons: Voice tagging needs work

Summary: I received this phone “free” with my service plan. I prefer a no-frills phone—just give me vibration and speed dialing and I’m happy. Luckily, this has both, but so much more. This is a GPRS phone (General Packet Radio ... read more

  • A great phone!

    Mar 17 '05
Pros: Reception, text message software, uses sim cards, battery life
Cons: web browser could be more user friendly

Summary: I just got my 3590 a few weeks ago. I have owned several cell phones in the past but this one is probably the one that I have been most happy with. The signal strength with this phone is awesome, it's the best that I have had out of all the phones I have ... read more

  • Decent, cheap phone

    May 28 '04
Pros: Large display, large buttons, reception, frugal battery usage, full featured, durable case
Cons: Power button, minor software glitches, needs a bit more earpiece volume

Summary: I originally had a Motorola C332, I did like some functions of the phone, but it had a tendancy to get very hot after extended use, and the non replacable battery died less than a year after I bought it. The charger jack also went bad at this time. ... read more

  • Reception king!

    May 16 '04
Pros: Great reception, tough, many features, very cheap
Cons: annoying power button, not small, erratic battery performance

Summary: Intro: I am relatively a new comer to the cell phone world as I got my first one only in the year 2000. However, I have used many of my friends and relatives and as such I have come to realize that there are two things worth noting before ... read more

  • Good phone for Nokia, but not it's hottest.

    Nov 22 '03
Pros: Excellent battery life, good features for entry phone.
    Cons: Few software problems.

Summary: In August of 2003, I decided that my Panasonic Versio just wasn't the phone for me. It was a great phone but was too lite, very easy to bend, and not many features. So I started looking at cell phones, and saw the Nokia 3590. It was cheaper than most ... read more

  • Great reliable phone for a small price.

    Jul 21 '03
Pros: Great talk time, Excellent reception.
Cons: Quiet ring tones, GRPS service not available everywhere.

  • great phone, but NEVER DROP IT!

    May 19 '03
Pros: great size, good hearing capabilities
Cons: completely broke when dropped once!

Summary: This is only my second phone, i went from the basic nokia 5165 with very few options, to a smaller, sleeker, better sound quality phone with a better plan. Although the voice dialing worked once after trying about 3 times, the speed dialing was good, ... read more

  • A Pretty Good Phone

    Apr 05 '03
Pros: Lots of features, compact design.
Cons: Low sound ringtones, kinda cheap plastic

Summary: I got this phone for free from AT&T Wireless and its great! Reception is good unless your in some closed off space or in a crowded area. Sound is clear but that could vary depending where you are. The design is cute and compact. It feels a little cheap ... read more

  • Many features for an Entry Phone

    Mar 25 '03
Pros: wireless web capable, download ringtones & graphics capable, voice activated dialing, customized profiles for environments
Cons: power on/off button, very soft ringtone, takes few seconds before phone shuts off

Summary: As I hinted with my Motorola V2397 TDMA cell phone review that I really wanted wireless web, well, I took the plunge and got a GSM phone that I can surf the web. It may sound funny to those who aren't a news junkie like I am that web browsing on a cell p ... read more

  • Nokia 3590 is the one!

    Feb 06 '03
Pros: Polyphonic ring tones, loads of talk time, way better than Motorola c331
Cons: Not may official Nokia faceplate options

Summary: I first had a Motorola c331g (read review there) I obviously didn't like that phone so here I am. I previously have had two Nokias and loved them both. This phone is even better! I had to wait a few weeks to trade in my Motorola, while Nokia ... read more

  • Great entry level phone plagued with software problems

    Feb 03 '03
Pros: Cheap, Polyphonic Ringtones and Java on an entry level phone
Cons: Software problems on simple tasks, no IR or modem

Summary: With GPRS, Java, GSM 850 and polyphonic ringtones, the Nokia 3590's feature list makes it a worthwhile upgrade from the popular 3390. The phone has equal reception and call quality as its successor and can uses the same battery, charger and headset. Its ... read more

  • One plus for Nokia, but many downs.....

    Jan 28 '03
Pros: Internet Access, Polyphonic Ring tone, Calender Setting,
Cons: Pea soup green LCD, double press unlock button, Voice calling rarely works,

Summary: Well I've always have been a Nokia fan for years now and I must admit, Nokia almost had it right with model Number 3590 series. The hook that got me was the Polyphonic ring tones. Now for those who don't know what Polyphonic is, it is a ring tone that is ... read more

  • Great RF Phone

    Aug 24 '05
    Pros: Good RF Performance.
    Cons: Big, No Color Screen.

Summary: Even though this phone is now considered obsolete I still use it in places with bad cell phone service. This phone will get a signal almost anywhere. It is a pretty big phone though, so you won't want to keep it in your pocket. It would be nice if it

  • dull dull dull

    Feb 26 '04
    Pros: no antana
    Cons: everything else

Summary: This phone is suppose to be good and all from the reviews I have read but I hated it first of all it's ugly in every way and the reception was bad, but that was at&t's fault, but even when I had a full signal it sounded like crap I just used it twice

  • Cheap, but some unique features.

    Dec 15 '03
    Pros: Cheap, friendly interface.
Cons: Ugly, blah ringtones, and BORING colors.

Summary: Screen Color is Blah. But it has some awsome features like a calender, alarm, profiles, and caller groups. I've never used the web feature but friends have told me its adequite. Rings tones are embarrasing compared to the new ones that are out there.
