Onespiritcom is a book club dealing with the mind, body and spirit. I was thrilled to find an offer for this book club, and enthusiastically joined. Not only do they offer books, but also videos, cassettes, CDs, and other merchandise. I love this...

Last January I received a catalog mailing from a club called "One Spirit." I merely tossed it aside until my other half picked it up a day or so later very interested in the contents. I was asked if it was okay with me if he signed me up to join this ...
First of all, let me say to everyone, all book clubs are a rip-off. They lure you in with a great offer of however many books for one cent or whatever. When the books arrive, you find that you more than pay for them with the bill you get for shipping. ...
Worst online customer support ever by jjolanta ,Jun 07 '08
I knew One Spirit book club, was a happy member before.
However, the Online Store is a different story.
It looks like their online store application is not working 100% and their IT department is not very responsive.
My account information was lost including information about my visa. I had really difficult time gaining access to my account( It took about a month). My membership offer was changed ( from 2 to 4 additional books required). Finally I needed to call Customer Service to get help. That somehow did not prevent the online store to apply late payments fees (2 times $3) to my account.
If One Spirit wants to do business online it needs to have better IT people for testing web software and managing DB.
As it is, I definitely do not want them to have my visa number.
They do not honor their offers. by yogamom ,Aug 04 '04
I love their books, but they have special offers like free shipping, but they have never honored it without a fight. I was a member a couple years ago & quit because of it. I joined again, but they are doing the same thing again, so I'm quitting again.
