My biggest nightmare on-line ever!!!
Is really a 10page story but will sum it up:
Ordered a projector, specifically said, numerous times that I didnt want a refurbished one.
Got the Wrong projector AND it was refurbished.
Instead of my 5-year warranty I got a "plasma screen "-warranty!!!! Believe me this was NOT a mistake!
I found that out the hard way.

They lied in an obvious way without caring I knew,
personal as well as the manager many times, kept transfering me from one to another person over and over.
It was first after threatning them with "I taped all the calls" that I got most of the money back.

A two month agony time for me.
I have a lot more respect for thieves with a knife
in their hand then these office conmen.
Unbelivable they are still operating.

Something’s just not right with this place.

I received and email from them 4 days after placing my order, stating that I needed to call them. When I did, it was a series of being placed on hold, and was initially told that THEY DO NOT SHIP TO ANY OTHER ADDRESS THAN THE “BILLING” ADDRESS. This is even though the order placement mechanism on their site asked for both “billing” and “shipping” addresses individually. According to them, their reasoning was that consumer credit card companies would not insure the package if sent anywhere else than to the billing address.

As a compromise, THE SALES AGENT TRIED TO NEGOTIATE WITH ME TO PAY AN EXTRA FEE TO THEM TO SHIP THE PACKAGE TO THE NON-“BILLING” ADDRESS…?!?

I immediately canceled the order, and went with another merchant.
Do yourself a favor, and do the same.

Called to order a camera ,fast smooth transaction,on time delivery ,knowledgeable sales guy,product was brand new witch i liked and very well packaged, great prices ,would shop again.

I ordered a Plasma from PCVideoOnline and had no problems at all. I called and spoke with the Managment team and they were very helpful. I give these guys a 5 star rating and will shop with them again. Great prices too.

After shopping online, usually one receives a confirmation email, but PCVideoOnline sent instructions to phone them to finalize my purchase (the first delay). I phoned, waited on hold 5min, then the representative tried to hard-sell accessories, some of which were included with the basic package. They also bribed me $5 to enter positive feedback. Over the next days, two more reps called me to upsell me accessories (one woke me at 7:30AM).

I had paid for the 3-day shipping because I needed the GPS in time for a vacation, and the reps promised it was in stock, and would ship in one day. Well, four days later, their website says my status is "will ship". What the heck does that mean? I think simply means "Has not shipped."

Update: I received the GPS, although it came weeks after expected. It was in good shape, and works well. I think it was a refurb, but I don't care. This store is not run by complete crooks, but they are con men, they do use high-pressure sales tactics, and you cannot trust anything they say orally or on the website. Spend a few bucks more and go to a reputable dealer.

I ordered a Canon Digital Rebel from them on Monday the 22nd. of March. I was asked to call in and confirm my web order from the net and was asked if I had any questions. I explained that I had one like it and understood what it came with and how it worked. The salesman who's name is George, said "great" and told me to enjoy it. I paid to have it shipped via 2nd day UPS and it arrived today before noon. Brand new with full USA Warranty. I had a great exper. and would tell others to give George a call. I did not have the same horror stories as others have. I have found that kind words and treating people as equals goes much further than a stiff response and calling names.

I ordered a $2000 plasma TV. I was supposed to receive it in 10-14 days. After 3 weeks I called to find out where it was. They said they hadn't even shipped it yet! DON'T BE TEMPTED BY THEIR LOW PRICES!!!! This is a very unprofessional company with lousy customer service. Do not order from them!

I just canceled my order for a camera, a Minolta z1, which i placed an order over two weeks ago with the item supposedly in stock. I called them a week later and was told it was in route via ups. Today i called and they said they did not ship and had none in stock and would be another week until the camera was available. i may get it in a week or two. Now, i see that this company still shows the item in stock. Baloney! I won't do anymore business with them!

Placed an order on their website today for Nikon Coolpix 5700 at the great price of $524 (touted as a "one-day only sale"). Got e-mail back saying just one more step required to complete order: call to confirm. On the phone I was told they were out of stock of the "camera only" but they have it available in their special "Holiday Kit". This is such blatant bait and switch behavior that I will never consider doing business with them again and I will take every opportunity to encourage others to avoid them as well.

They do NOT have plasma TVs in stock...they wait until you order the product and then look for it. Awful, awful, awful...totally untrustworthy and no credibility whatsoever. PCVideoOnline will give you the complete run around. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! We spent $3500 on a plasma TV and still haven't received it. We've been promised twice now that we'd get it by a certain deadline and still haven't received it.

I placed an order online today for a home theatre system. When I called to validate the order, I was told the item would not ship for three days even though it was in stock. They were rude and unhelpful to my questions. I called american express to inquire if I had been charged, since I am only supposed to be charged when the item is shipped. Not only was I charged, but they charged me on my initial order, and then charged me again when I called to validate the order. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS...

Ordered camera it was two weeks late in promised delivery date. Only received camera and no extras that I paid for. Ordered 2nd camera but then immediately cancelled because of inability to give me a order number. Charged my account anyway after cancellation and several phone calls. This company told me many lies and didn't come through on any promises. Were always rude and deceptive. Still currently trying to get the charge off my Visa account. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Foolishly, I ignored the feedback and placed an order. I had ordered a Toshiba e740 Pocket PC, a top of the line model.

I received a refurbished e355, an entry level model. I called to report the mistake and found that the customer service department has limited hours of service and is frequently unavailable.

I can however get through to the sales department every time.

I finally got through to customer service. Customer service indicated that they would send me the correct unit via second day air.

I sent the incorrect unit back and I have confirmation that they did recieve the unit.

Customer services claim that they would send me the correct unit via second day air was false.

Four days later and customer service informs me that they have not shipped a replacement unit!

At this point I am completely exasparated with PCVideoOnline. I am going to cancel my order with them as they seem to be unable to deliver the correct unit to me.

I have to say that dealing with this company has been the worst situation I have come across when purchasing online.

Don't trust this store. Their web site says it's "in stock" but don't you believe it. They string customer's along with lies for weeks, then tell you "it's not in stock" 22 days later. They charged my Credit Card, but didn't even have the product. I was forced to refuse payment via my CC company. Then, 17 days after I cancelled my order, they made a second Unauthorized charge to my CC for $42 for shipping. I was forced to go back to my CC company and refuse payment again.

I contacted IL Attorney General and the BBB to file credit card fraud charges.

They have other "store" names too.
