Effective for mobile office work by cbolon Pros: Processor speed
Display size Cons: Touchpad response Flat key tops The Acer 1410 with Intel dual-core SU2300 and Windows 7 is a useful, general purpose mini-notebook. It is small and light enough to be carried around all the time, yet large and fast enough to do most ordinary work. Word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail ...

Lightweight & Powerful; A Fitting Desktop Replacement by vemartin Pros: Intel Core Duo processor; maximum 8GB of RAM; big, bright display
Cons: Could use two more USB ports. It has been almost five years since I started my new job as a Senior IT Engineer running the messaging infrastructure (Microsoft Exchange 2007/BlackBerry Enterprise Server) installation for a mid-sized Mid-West financial company. And when I ...

IBM ThinkPad T60 Notebook PC T2400 1.83GHz 1GB DDR2, 60GB 14.1" Windows XP Pro (Off-Lease) by coloradocatz Pros: Easy to use and a good fit for small hands.
Cons: Mouse button drift on sensitivity. I, am personally, in love with the IBM Thinkpad. Now I will tell you why. I use my laptop about 5 hours per day for internet sales. My husband has a Dell, my children have Dell's, and my college kid has an HP laptop. I am ...

Alienware M15X: The coolest gaming laptop in the Universe by texas-swede Pros: Good graphics card (GTX 260M), fast processor (Intel Core i7 720QM), practical, extremely cool.
Cons: Battery life length, not the fastest gaming laptop in the Universe. Before I continue I need to point out that with "Micro Center is the biggest liar in the Universe" I don't mean that this gaming laptop is slow, on the contrary it is quite fast. However, you can buy 15 inch Alienware gaming laptops with 2GHz Intel Core ...

Cons: Short Battery Life, No CD/DVD drive, Small Screen “Its alright to be little-bitty...”Alan Jackson has the right idea when talking about the Acer Aspire One. I have had very little problem with my little netbook, and in fact it has done very well for me! This is the closest ...

Decent for the price by radiov8 Pros: Ridiculously cheap, does alright for the specs
Cons: Shorter battery life, junk screen, keyboard isn't very good but gets the job done A month or so ago, my Asus eeePC 1000HE was stolen. I was pretty angry, and I didn't really feel like paying the 375 it would take to replace, but I still needed some sort of laptop, so I figured I might as well jump on a cheaper model as I wait for next ...

Not all netbooks are created equal by bigtruckseries Pros: Bluetooth, large Hard Drive

I'm lukewarm about the Antec Notebook Cooler. by chelledun Pros: It did keep my computer somewhat cooler, you can buy it for very cheap.
Cons: Needs more and cooler air, noisy, some design flaws, broke after eight months. I like nearly everything about my Dell Inspiron 1525 except for one thing - it gets extremely, inexplicably hot with more than a half hour's consecutive use. I have found this to be true with other Dell's I have owned as well and have attempted to ...

Built like a tank, to be sure... by classof1 Pros: Well-built, fast, and reliable desktop replacements.
Cons: Plastic trim pieces falling off is definitely an annoyance! Well... I'm both an owner and a servicer. My shop uses two: (1) a 1905-S277 (earlier model) and (1) 1905-S305, and I've serviced about a couple of hundred of these models, so ... for what it's worth...First off, these are the ...
