by bwoy , Feb 26 '04
Pros: Vivid colour, high resolution, long battery life, rugged, and great design.
Cons: Only 8 mb, and memory card on side of device
First of all, the Palm m130 is an inexpensive handheld, now that doesn't mean it doesn't preform well. It preforms great! I got the Palm m130 as a Christmas gift, and i've had it for about 4 months. I've been really liking the Palm m130, it is really ...

My Sweet Little PDA

by sarahmai , Nov 17 '03
Pros: Very portable and has many different uses.
Cons: I'm sometimes worried about scratching the screen or dropping it.
I love my m130. Originally, it was a Christmas gift from my mother because as a music teacher, I have lots of re-occuring appointments. I have 7 different faceplates that I can change whenever I want, including red, blue, snakeskin, and leopard print. ...

Tim2v: M130

by tim2v , Aug 03 '03
Pros: New user, thought a real palm would be a good idea. Like the color screen.
Cons: Missing the First Step.
Hey, I'm new to this, so don't hold it against me. But, in Reliability Engineering, I have found that many times the system doesn't tell you the first step. I got a M130 yesterday at FRYs in Anaheim. Its a refurbished one, so that may have something to ...

Broken Power Button (update)

by gotaluvme , Jun 14 '03
Pros: You'll use it, stylish, price, color, many free programs available
Cons: color display less vibrant then other color displays
Update Late January 2004 my Palm power button stopped working. This irritates me and it doesn't appear it will be fixed without forking over more bucks to Palm. I've had an otherwise great time so far with my Palm. The good news, is I can ...

The end of gray-scale PDAs

by deizmat , Apr 30 '03
Pros: color, price, packed with features
Cons: a little bit too bulky
First I have to say this is my 4th PDA. Before the palm I was using a Psion 3mx that was long due for replacement.

COLOR
At last affordable color is available for PDA and that's the main selling argument for this one.
It's a pleasure...

Price vs Function

by maddogmd11 , Apr 26 '03
Pros: Price, Palm OS, Color, Available Applications, Battery Life
Cons: Screen Size, Screen "brightness"
The M130 is a fine basic PDA. If you are looking for basic functions with color screen then this is the PDA for you. IF you have good eyes and never plan on using it in bright daylight.

The PDA uses the tried and true Palm OS. Installing...

Over the Rainbow

by calyoda , Apr 15 '03
Pros: Great ergonomic design, flip cover, SD slot, COLOR
Cons: Can't use all universal devices, screen hard to see in natural light, no flash ROM
My wife purchased the M130 for me for Christmas this past year, and got a great deal on a free keyboard that came with the device.

This was an upgrade for me from a Cassiopeia E-11, and it was well worth the learning curve for the Palm OS....

Pros: Color screen, easy use, design, faceplates, applications

For the price this PDA is a good choice. The color capability is decent and the battery life is okay. One good thing is that you don't lose your information when your battery goes down you have a week to recharge it. Also you aren't replacing...
