I bought this Panasonic home-theater-in-a-box system about a month ago and I am happy with it so far. The initial set up was fairly easy and took about 45 minutes. The physical looks of the system are very unique. The sleek front Left and Right ...

Pros: Great value and features, great performance Cons: Remote is a little tricky, set-up takes time
I was lucky enough to win this system as a giveaway at a work meeting. I was very surprised at the performance after the complicated set-up was completed. It has the HDMI hook-up for your HD TV and the sound and bass can be tuned to several different ...

Pros: 5 Disc HDMI, great sound and picture. Cons: Set up can take a while - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! you'll be fine...
I purchased the SC HT740 after doing a side-by-side comparison with the SC HT940 and felt that the SC HT740 actually sounded better. I was so impressed that I purchased several defective units on e-bay - repaired them, then resold them. The unit does have a cooling fan and also has several heat dispersement devices and vents. The speaker wire does look a bit undersized but is more than adequate for the average listener who doesn't want to go deaf. And this unit will vibrate your furniture if you turn it up. This is certainly one of the better units on the market and a bargain for the price. Read the manual and do a proper set up with the various options to find your personal sound preferences. I also recommend investing in the Panasonic SH-FX60 2-Way Wireless Transmitter & Receiver for the wireless rear speaker option.
