Great Phone For the "Low-Tech"

by Greg2000 , Sep 30 '03
Pros: some nice extra features, excellent reception, phonebook organized well, voice memo
Cons: very short battery life
With color phones, camera phones, and Internet phones, the basic phone is becoming almost obsolete. For those not looking for all the amenities that new phones have to offer, the Panasonic Allure may not be such a bad option. The phone is one of the lig ...

Finally I own a cell phone I'm proud of

by cult2038 , Jun 05 '03
Pros: stylish, nice features, easy to read screen, custom settings
Cons: not very big
I picked up the Allure from attwireless.com as a hardware upgrade from my Erickson phone that broke a few days ago.

So far I'm thrilled with the phone.

It's a nice looking phone, clean lines, a nice shape, but it's a lot lighter and...

by violetzeng , May 18 '03
Pros: Beautiful appearance, convenience of short message, light weight, desirable rings and not expensive price
Cons: short battery, press any key-press to put through
Appearance
In my impression I feel Panasonic Allure EB-TX310 is very long, but when I got it I find it is not very long, just the fuselage is very slender.Allure EB-TX310's colorful panel is very stylish and fabrication is fine, also the handle is...

Panasonic Allure Extended Battery

by cellphoneuser , May 02 '03
Pros: Size, weight, options
Cons: Needs an extended battery (see review)
Others have written exhaustive reviews on this phone already, so I will just comment on the one aspect that really bothered me: the short battery life. I purchased a 1400mAh Li-ION extended battery for $40.62 (including shipping) from Cellphone Battery...

smart choice

by peccatoribus , Mar 26 '03
Pros: low cost, slim size, works better than all other phones i had
Cons: ATT carrier in the city
After series of Nokias and Star-tacs, I've finally found my favorite. Panasonic Allure.

At first, I hesitated a little, since Panasonic carried its name brand recognition in home appliances and electronic equiptments, but not in mobile...

Panasonic Allure

by kevinasadi , Mar 10 '03
Pros: light weight, small size, speaker phone, large phonebook, sound quality is good, very durable
Cons: small ringtone selection
I love my Panasonic phone. I've had it for over a year now and it still works great. It's very lightweight and small enough to fit anywhere. I've gotten lots of compliments on it from people, especially when they feel how light it is. The speakerphone...

Solid Second-generation Digital Phone

by uursw , Jan 24 '03
Pros: lightweight, durable, great sound and ringtones, speakerphone is nice feature, as well
Cons: no games, no calculator, new ringtones require complex programming, voice recognition needs work
This phone has been virtually bulletproof for me. I prefer the candybar-style phone over the flip phones, and this is just the right size for me. It is large enough to be usable, yet light enough to make me forget I'm wearing it. I have dropped it on the...

Longtime cellphone user very happy.

by philovivero , Dec 13 '02
Pros: Super light-weight. Super customisable rings. Many backlight colours. Speakerphone built-in. Vibrating mode.
Cons: Shorter battery life?
I've been using cellphones for about six years now. Samsung, Motorola, Ericsson, you name it, I've used it. Ericsson is the worst and this Panasonic has been hands down the best I've ever used.

Short battery life? Who could care when this...

The BEST Phone EVER!

by aimeemm , Dec 06 '02
Pros: Extremely lightweight, cute and ALWAYS has a signal!
Cons: No games
The Panasonic Allure is an extremely light-weight, cute, silver phone! This is the only phone that I've ever had (Nokia user before) always receives calls and messages. I've only had one call dropped from my phone and that was when I was on a train...

You'll be Sorry.....

by badacting , Nov 16 '02
Pros: Small, lightweight, lots of features
Cons: Reception, scratches easily, voice commands are a joke
I really wanted to like this phone. I really did. When I decided to give Verizon the boot and switch to AT&T (because of far more prime time minutes per $) I looked at what AT&T offered for phones....and, to tell you the truth, I didn't really like...

Panasonic Allure = Great Phone

by markehr , Aug 26 '02
Pros: Light weight, great signal quality, awesome ring tones, headset connector, PC connectivity, speakerphone
Cons: Below average battery life, lack of accessories, no on-board programs/utilities, speaker volume
I purchased my Panasonic Allure from AT&T Wireless nearly six months ago for $60, and I am very happy with it.

The phone is incredibly light weight -- 2.8 ounces with battery -- and it has a form-factor that makes it very easy to talk on and...

Nice phone, speakerphone makes the deal

by airmon , Aug 05 '02
Pros: thin, light, good sound, good reception, speakerphone, fairly well made.
Cons: tall, no wireless web choices
I purchased my Panasonic Allure sight-unseen off of the AT&T website, looking for an alternative to my broken Ericsson. I'm very happy with it, pleased with the speakerphone abilities.
The Allure is nicely thin and light, perhaps a little taller...

Mixed emotions

by lirubis Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Aug 05 '02
Pros: Ease of use, unbelievably lightweight, voice commands that work, superb reception.
Cons: Looks cheapy, difficult to hear on loud environments
"You got a...WHAT??!" This expression pretty much sums the vast majority of comments I got when people found out I traded my excellent Nokia for the new Panasonic TX310. I just took the chance to upgrade to a new phone for free, while upscaling my...

Mr Slim!

Pros: Small, light and easy to use, fast charging battery pack
Cons: Battery drains very fast
This phone is amazingly light and slim, and that is what first attracted me to it. The keyboard is easy to use and the menu process on the large display is simple.

The phone is immensely customizable, to the extent of even the display color...

Most aggrevating cell phone ever

by consumerdude , Jun 22 '02
Pros: small, light, built in speaker phone
Cons: the absolute worst reception ever. lots of dropped calls.
I've never seen so many dropped calls. There are numerous spots in my area where this piece of crap phone consistenly drops calls. My ericsson and nokia phones all worked fine in these areas.

Worst cell phone ever among the dozen that I've...
