Pros: Awesome EDTV value especially if you are viewing from greater than 8 feet Cons: None
I am surprised to see that I am the among the first to review the Panasonic TH-42PWD8UK enhanced definition plasma TV as this unit offers serious value. My decision to opt for an enhanced definition (EDTV) was quite simple, as there is currently little ...

Great display!

Pros: Fantastic picture quality, easy setup Cons: Only 1 set of inputs for component cables (but can be expanded)
We bought this display after reading many reviews that said that the picture was great and we weren't disappointed! Even though it isn't HD, you can clearly see the difference between HD channels and regular channels. I don't see any difference between our picture and the one on our friend's HD tv when viewing HD channels. Except the price of course :) This unit is not a television, it's a display, which means that you need a tuner to get the signal. This is not a problem if you have digital cable since the cable box can act as the tuner but you will need an a/v system for the sound. We got the Samsung with the wireless rear speakers and it is perfect! I highly recommend this product for it's style and function.
