A Fine HDTV

by scooty809 , Mar 04 '08
Pros: Bright color, SD inputs, good picture, good stand, standard def looks good
Cons: Color adjustments, only one antenna input, no CableCard input
The Panasonic TH-50PX75U is considered an entry level TV for Panasonic. I found it to be a lot better than the entry level TVs of other manufacturers. Having owned LCoS rear projections and LCD HDTV's, I feel the quality of the picture falls ...

Great 720P set

by brianappj , Mar 15 '08
Pros: digital and analog tuner included, HD channels look great, gloss black frame looks great.
Cons: No front A/V jacks, no cable card
I have had this set for about two months now and it is working great. The on board tuner will get all of my local channels in HD over standard cable. I have read a lot about burn in but I am here to tell you that it doesn't matter these days, at ...

I love this tv

by audmac916 , May 29 '08
Pros: minimal to no glare, excellent sound quality, excellent picture quality.
Cons: more pricey than other models, very large.
I recently bought this TV luckily I was able to buy the display model and didn't have to pay full price for it. From the day it was installed in my home I was blown away by the awesome picture. I have blue ray and High definition programming and the ...

Wow!

by txtxyeha , Apr 30 '07
Pros: This is what HDTV is suppose to be!
Cons: The box wouldn't fit into my mid-size SUV
In November I went cheap and entered the world of HDTV with an Insignia 32-in., 720P, LCD screen from Best Buy along with upgrading to DirecTV's 1080i package. My first reaction was, "This is nice", but not as in "niiiiiiccccce!" Four months later the ...

Exceeded expectations
by jabo79 ,Apr 03 '08
Pros: Awesome picture. Very competitive price.
Cons: Lack of front panel inputs. Memory card slot.
This is my first HDTV and I researched quite a while before deciding. I like or love most things about this TV. The picture is awesome when in HD and okay when it's not. I have HD through a few channels over the air but I plan on upgrading my Dish Network to HD service very soon. If you are looking for a 50" HDTV, this is the way to go. Don't be overly concerned that this is a 720p set. Most of the experts say the screen has to be in the 60 inch range before you can tell the difference. I wished the memory card slot in the front would have been compatible with my Canon digital SLR's memory card. Also, I would like to have seen front panel input options as this TV is heavy and getting to the back in my entertainment center is no easy chore.

Great Television
by top_kat ,May 12 '08
Pros: I love everything about this TV.
Cons: None that I've found.
I bought this TV for the living room a few months ago and I LOVE it. The picture is crisp, clear and totally amazing with the HD service I have. I don't have any glare issues that some people report with plasma tv's.

Cons: Additional HDMI would be nice
TV works great, easy setup, picture is excellent, would like another HDMI port. Runs hot after long periods, but no problems so far.

Panasonic's GalleryPlayer is Groundbreaking!!!
by alicenhd ,Sep 23 '07
Pros: crisp, clear, great color. downloadable art and photography make this stand apart from the rest.
Cons: not the cheapest, but worth it!
I just bought a Panasonic Plasma. The quality is amazing, but the thing I like best about this screen was a complete surprise. It comes with GalleryPlayer, a feature that allows you to download stunning hi definition art and photography online and play it on the tv. They have Monets, DaVincis and awesome photography that shows off the clarity of the screen like nothing else can. They have a decent library of thousands of images and they're only a buck a piece! Regular TV has some competition with a feature like this!!
