  • The Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Travel System. It's really bad.

    Oct 30 '01
Pros: Big basket, large wheels, not much else.
    Cons: Everything else.

Summary: When you spend $400 on a stroller, like the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Travel System, you go to great lengths to sing its praises. You extoll its fine European design and workmanship. You admire its tasteful fabric, and sneer at the cutesie fabrics ... read more

Pros: Beautiful! Durable! Easy to open & close. Large basket. No mobile kitchen!
Cons: Wheels are squeaking a little bit.

Summary: I spent a lot of time researching strollers. The strollers on the market are like moving mobile homes. I don't need a kitchen on my stoller. I wanted something that is simple and stylish.I really fell in love with it. I purchased my stroller from ... read more

Pros: The stroller is a perfect size. Comes with rain cover, reclines, etc.
Cons: The car base is extra big to put in the middle seat of our volvo.

  • Do Not Buy This Stroller

    Dec 12 '02
Pros: Nice colors, safe car seat
    Cons: Everything else

Summary: I, like many people thought that I was buying a quality item when I bought this travel system. I was wrong. The car seat was not very easy to hold, it was pretty heavy, and it was awkward. It wasn't very easy to make sure the car seat was in the base ... read more

  • Can't live without this stroller!

    Nov 03 '02
Pros: Handles beautifully, lighter than most full-size strollers
Cons: Takes a bit of practice to get it unfolded

Summary: We researched pretty well every stroller out there and decided on the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio travel system. We wanted a travel system, but I found that many of them had inferior quality strollers. This was not apparent in the store when wheeling ... read more

  • REALLY horrible stroller

    Oct 22 '02
    Pros: Nice looking, nice fabric
    Cons: everything else

Summary: My first mistake was buying this stroller without seeing it in person first. But I figured - Peg Perego, how can you go wrong. Well trust me...you can go wrong. This stroller is SO bad that after shelling out $350 only a little over a year ago, I am ... read more

  • riding safe

    Feb 16 '02
Pros: Works well with Peg Perego strollers, strap to tighten in the baby works well
Cons: heavy, handle can be awkward

Summary: We bought this seat because it matched the stroller and it had all the safety features I wanted. The seat comes with a 5 point harness which is the best for an infant. It also comes with shoulder strap pads and a head support insert. The ... read more

  • My pick for a travel system!

    Jan 25 '02
Pros: 5-point harness, spill resistant fabrics, great wheels
Cons: price, a bit bulky(takes up all of the back of my expedition)

Summary: When I told my husband that I was going to buy a new stroller for our third child, he thought I was crazy. When I told him how much that new stroller cost, he wanted to throw away the key! When he actually used that new stroller, he even loved how easy ... read more

Pros: Great looking stroller that works great!
Cons: Must use car seat base

  • Great product

    Nov 09 '01
Pros: Great looking, Sporty feel and solid build, seems durable, big basket, rain cover, big wheels.
Cons: a little heavy and bulky, but so are most travel systems

Summary: I am very satisfied with our Primo Viaggio 2001 Travel System. It feels extremely solid and well build. Comes in two great looking and sporty color combinations (yellow/gray and red/blue), which give it that slick look. Dads will WANT to push it. All my ... read more

  • What a Lemon!

    Oct 27 '01
    Pros: Nice styling.
Cons: Cheaply made, poor quality, serious design flaws which render it unusable.

Summary: We have had this travel system for less than 3 months and already have had many problems with it due to serious design flaws. These design flaws make it very hard to use in the manner it is supposed to be used. Examples are: The basket ... read more

  • I love my Viaggio!

    Aug 25 '08
Pros: No squeaks, big basket, sturdy but relatively light, max weight 45 lbs
Cons: The tabs on the basket that connected it to the stroller weren't very strong.

Summary: And I'm just now getting rid of it after 3 kids. All I've ever had to do was replace the basket (due to my own over stuffing of the basket!) and it has been incredibly durable. I used and abused this stroller as it was my "car" and it held up beautifully
