Pros: Hours of Replayability, Fairly Deep Customization, New Additions Cons: Costs Money To Play Online, Requires Purchases of Gamecube Online Hardware
From the dawn of the first video games some companies were destined to fail, and some were destined to succeed. Nintendo and Sony are two of the companies that have had few to no failures, and thus were destined to succeed in the console business. On the ...

Pros: Multiple stories, addicting, nice graphics and can be played on-line. Cons: Takes time to get the learning curve, story is sub-par and it's mostly dungeon crawling.
You want to get away from reality for a while. You need a game to escape to. You choose Phantasy Star Online, but why?
The graphics are smooth, and they don't interfere with the gameplay. This is definately a plus. You can see what your...

Pros: One of the most amazing titles EVER. Cons: Cheaters and thieves.
Phantasy Star Online Ep I and II. This game is just a work of art through and through. There are twelve playable character classes (three more than the original Dreamcast release), eight seperate dungeons (four more than the DC release). And enough...

Pros: -Great Graphics in Episode 2
-Addicitive Online Gameplay Cons: -High cost to pay per month
-Graphics issues in Episode 1
GAMEPLAY Ah yes, the most important part of any game, and thus, this section is the bulk of the points (30 to be exact). Phantasy Star Online (PSO from now on) is, to say the least, an incredibly addictive game along the lines of Diablo 2. It is, at i ...

Pros: addictive, easy to learn, multiplayer Cons: online play fee, requires GC modem/adapter
Phantasy Star Online is a title worth picking up, whether you play it single player, multiplayer, or online multiplayer. If you do buy this game, however, you will be playing it multiplayer one way or another.
First off, this is a re-release....

Great Game For ANY Gamecube Collection.
by ffomega136 ,Mar 25 '04
Pros: EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE!!! Indepth character and item (funky mags) design, creative online play Cons: EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE!!! Online play in a pain to enable, corny storyline, could use voice chat.
Phantacy Star Online is an extremely fun game, yet multiplayer on a single console is terrible. Required hardware for online play, plus a fee is also a minus. Yet I would recommend this game, online or not to ANYONE with a gamecube.

A solid, fun game
by hoboted ,Dec 17 '04
Pros: Tons of options, expansive game world, good replay value Cons: Fighting gets old after a while, gets repetitive
This is a fun RPG that should keep you involved and excited for a long time. There are a lot of ways you can make your character, so it is interesting to make new ones. Good graphics and lots of different weapons and armor. The world is huge and there are plenty of enemies. The only problem is that the fighting is limited. It gets stale after some time. Other than that it is a great game with many options in terms of playability.

Phantasy Star Online Episode 1&2
by mewdestroyer ,Jan 10 '06
Pros: YOu can play online Cons: When you pause the enemy can attack you
PSO (Phantasy Star Online) is a good Role-playing game. You get to pick if you want to be a ranger, force, or Hunters. I picked a force becuase they have a variety of attacks.
Also you can go online and have people far away from you play along with you.
