Pros: Nice computer monitor; decent HDTV set; good array of inputs; decent audio Cons: You'll need cables; SD images are blah; needs tweaking for best images
Note: This review is for a Magnavox 19MF337B LCD HDTV, which is identical to a Philips 19MF337B. Both are made by the same company and differ only in the name on the face of the TV. I checked with an Epinions Category Lead for Electronics prior to ...

Disappointment
by ooch1966 ,Feb 10 '08
Pros: Review says it all Cons: Review says it all
Philips DOES NOT stand behind product! Bought brand new in May of 07, stopped working in Jan 08. Will not power on. Plug & unplug resets for a few minutes, then it crashes. Called Philips customer service. Would replace if I paid $200.00! That is robbery! 9 months old just stops working! No recourse, junk. Please beware, and if you must purchase, get an extended warranty.......you'll need it!

Amazing buy
by nlh87 ,May 05 '07
Pros: Flawless image; HD tuner; lightweight Cons: None
I purchased this TV for my son, who has a plethora of devices that could use it. We were floored. This thin, beautifully-designed LCD shows flawless, deep color images from a DVD player and games. Best of all, it has two TV tuners, an analog one AND an HD one, so that we were able to pick up about 60 cable HD stations that we had never seen before. The quality of the image is amazing. It also has, uniquely as far as I know, a VGA input which we connected to a PDA with terrific results. The remote is easy to use, and includes the ability to freeze the picture. Outstanding buy - we purchased ours at Sam's Club for $284.
