Pros: Includes a PIP with SOUND, a magnificent Cons: No CD for PC
I've waited to give a review on this TV for almost 3-years. It was purchased on December 9, 2005 only to be used as a computer monitor. It has been on an easy 18-hours per day from day 1 & still going strong. I purchased the TV for two reasons, one ...

Pros: Great picture quality. Ease of setup and operation. Abundance of in/out jacks. Cons: Better on-screen feedback would be helpful. This is a nuisance
I've had my new Phillips/Magnavox 26MF605W/17 26" TV for only a few weeks, and it is already proving to be a welcome addition to our home. We mounted it on a wall with a special mounting bracket, and it is quite beautiful; I have seen lots of these ...

Pros: great picture, low price. Cons: needs better remote
If you are looking for an inexpensive LCD television that also can double as a computer monitor, look no further! If you did not know the price of this TV and compared it against other name brands (Sony, Sharp, Panasonic) for picture brightness and ...

Incredible picture, Incredible price.

Pros: Excellent PRICE ($799can.), widescreen, image quality, brightness/contrast Cons: Sound , Feels a little flimsy, could be more durable. Only 90 day full waranty.
The Philips/Magnavox 26MF605W/17 26" LCD has an incredibly clear widescreen image and an even more incredible price. I am using it with a DVI dvd player, and the image is very clear. The sound is great for small rooms, but you will definetly need external audio for larger rooms. I bought this lcd for the bedroom and it's perfect! It has all kinds of inputs: vga/dvi/svideo/component/video etc..
The image is amazing. When pausing a DVD movie, the screen looks like a painting with it's vivid colors and clear image. In my opinion, it has better contrast and brightness side-by-side to samsung, panasonic and sony. How good is the image? Well,I also own a 60" sony grand wega lcd/dlp set with HD which is in our living room, and when my wife saw the image of the 26" philips, she wanted to replace the larger set!
The unit came with ZERO dead pixels, much to my surprise and glee! I have paid $100's more for NEC,SONY,APPLE LCD's which all came with at least 1 dead pixel!
I bought at bestbuy in canada for about $655US ($799.can)
I highly recomend this unit
