A Must for on the Go People
by sheisreese ,Mar 19 '07
Pros: It really is a necessity if you want to utilize your Inno to the fullest. Cons: During road trips, you may need to change the frequency to grab the best signal.
I invested in this car kit after receiving an INNO for my birthday.
It was well worth it. You may choose to have it professionally installed, however, its just as easy to install yourself. I found the Inno home dock it a little tricky to attach (I used the vent method), but once I got it on it was there to stay. The key to installing it is to be aggressive. I wasn't initially, because I didn't want to break the attachment, but not to worry, it's made very well and can withstand the force!
If you don't have it professionally installed, make sure you utilize all the accessories. The spiral-thingy used to keep the cords together makes for a neat appearance and the velcro w/ adhesive attaches the antenna securely in place so it's not sliding across the dash.

Inno Is The Way to Go!!
by kukie ,Mar 24 '07
Pros: Weight, accessibilty of functions, design, memory Cons: reception without the car kit or on foot is horrible
I was hooked on satellite radio ever since a rented a car a few years back that was equipped with a reciever. What a concept I thought, it was like cable for the ears! Now Pioneer has gone one step further and has come up with a portable satellite radio with a 1G memory for storing your favorite tunes. The Pioneer Inno is one (actually several steps) ahead of its predesesor, the Airware xm2g0. First of all, its much smaller and easier to carry. Its extremely easy to program and navigate. The record function is very easy to use. One can easily navigate between what you have recorded and switch back to a live broadcast. In addition, Pioneer makes it very easy to edit and delete songs or material you no longer want to listen to. The Inno does have some drawbacks, reception is not the best if you are out on foot with the unit. In addition, definitely buy the car kit with your Inno, otherwise reception is horrible in your car. Use the cassette for best reception if its available. Overall, you will be very satisfied with this unit.
